"I don’t usually write hotel reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one because we absolutely loved this hotel. We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels, including many high-end properties, and honestly, this hotel was nicer than many of them. The hotel was beautiful and very spacious, looked brand new, and had a lovely balcony. It’s located in a quiet, charming town not far from Hallstatt. It combines modern finishes with large, apartment-style rooms, kitchen facilities, and nice workout equipment. That combination is hard to find in smaller Alpine towns, and it made our stay especially comfortable. We also made use of the free laundry facilities, which was very convenient. The self-checkin was a little confusing, and there is no front desk, but we quickly figured everything out. There was also no daily housekeeping, but this wasn’t an issue for us either. We regretted having to leave after only two days. If we had known how nice the hotel was, we definitely would have stayed longer."

"Nice resort, but I can’t give 5 stars because the room was lacking privacy. We booked the lake view balcony room, but the balcony was shared with the adjacent room and only separated with a glass partition. The neighbors could see into our room which was unacceptable."

"We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the room was well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also very convenient. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily stay here again."

"It was in a great location with a short walk to their lake front swimming area. It would have been helpful to have a ceiling fan in the room with the heatwave since there was no AC. They provided 1 fan, but since we had a triple that left our child without a fan. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and the included breakfast was great!"

"Wonderful location right on the lake, with a private deck, SUP boards for guest use, day beds and onsen like pool & sauna. Great facilities. Room was well designed, but a small fridge would have been appreciated given the wonderful weather. No air-conditioning in rooms, which would normally be fine, but it was warm to sleep in the heatwave."
