Coming from America I’m not used to staying in hotels or BnB’s that do not have washcloths in the bathroom. I wish there were instructions in the laundry room in German and English on how to operate the washer and dryer. The property and room were clean and modern.

Very comfortable stay with walking distance to historical sites. Condo has everything you need for a short stay, comfortable bed, clean shower and coffee provided. We even had a chocolate treat. Located perfectly close to center and to train station. Definitely place to stay the next time.

The heated bathroom floor was very welcome, the room was spotlessly clean as was the bedding. It was quiet and very relaxing, there are bus stops nearby and the town centre is a straight 10-15 minute walk to the old town. There are a number of cafès nearby for breakfast.

Communication with the host was incredible, they responded to messages within minutes. The apartment is in an amazing location and was the perfect size studio apartment for us. Shower had great pressure and immediate hot water which was great in 6 degrees temperature and we could use the washing machines and dryers downstairs free of charge. We were also given a late checkout. Would definitely stay here again, we were really happy here.

Master Mirabell is perfectly located. It is an apartment, not a hotel so you need to make sure you watch for their email and check in ahead of time. After that the process is flawless.

Couldn’t recommend this property enough. Especially if you are visiting Salzburg in the late summer - air conditioning! Communication was extremely fast. Lovely quiet area near Mirabell Park. 10 minute walk from the Innsbruck central train station. 10 minute walk to old Salzburg. Bus stop the next block over. Updated amenities. They allowed me to check in early and check out late. Truly an ideal stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. Well heated, very hot water for showering, and a comfortable apartment. We were kindly provided with a hot plate for cooking due to the length of our stay. I was a little worried about the check in process after reading several of the reviews, but if you follow the instructions provided it works perfectly. There is not a manned reception like in a hotel, but this did not bother us at all. The location is excellent — an easy walk to the old town. I would stay here again.

The property was clean and nicely furnished. We only stayed one night, but we'll definitely keep this place in mind for longer stays. The kitchenette seems to have everything you need, and the apartment has plenty of storage. The location is within easy walking distance to the train station, Mirabell gardens and the downtown area.

Potential, but not executed well.
The place is very nice and has potential, but the check in process was terrible. Not having someone at the desk is a terrible idea when things go wrong. You have to have a working phone to call with any questions. The mattress and bedding were terrible. The sheets felt wet and cold all night long and the duvet barely covered the bed.

Partially occupied front desk was a joke.
The hotel was in a good location near Salzburg's Old Town in a walking distance to all the attractions. The hotel itself, however, was disappointing. No staff at front desk, like ever! The sign said it should be occupied 8am-4pm but the only time we saw someone there was the first day when we got there at 2pm. The staff let us leave our luggage there but said we had to come back at 3pm to check-in. We came back at 3:05pm but they were gone. We followed the instruction to do self-check in at the machine but it failed to give us the room keys and said to call the emergency number. We called and the lady said someone would be coming to help in 5-10 minutes. There was another couple who tried to do the same so we had to stand outside waiting in the cold due to limited space. Eventually a lady showed up 20 minutes later. She went to sit at the front desk for another 10 minutes, while we were STILL standing outside in the cold, before coming to ask if we needed help. Eventually we got the key to our room so bad first impression already. The room was ok with kitchen and 2 TVs, however, all English shows were dubbed in German excepts a BBC news channel so no use for the TVs. Shower design was terrible. You got a square of 1ft x 1ft with a depth of ~2 inches as the drain pan. The drain was super slow so bathroom was flooded every time we took a shower. We messaged the hotel through but never received help or response. Terrible experience.

The hotel is centrally located and in easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants, but we stayed at three different hotels in Salzburg and this one was the worst value for the money. No front desk reception for inquiries and the pull out couch was not made up for our stay despite hotel knowing there were four of us. No sheets for the pull out bed and no one at reception to go to for help. The only bedding available for the pullout couch were two small coverlets that two of us had to sandwich ourselves between and barely covered us. No breakfast included and no guest service or special amenities, unlike another hotel we stayed in for the same price just across the street that had a beautiful lobby and restaurants for same price. In Salzburg, look elsewhere first.

We arrived at the property yesterday, and we found that the place was dark and dirty. We thought the hotel was closed. And we followed the instruction at the entrance to call the attendant to open the first door. We have to use the international call to call that attendant. We’re disappointed that there weren’t even a button to call. We follow the instruction from the attendant and the machine to check-in. Unfortunately, We’re not able to complete the transaction because the machine cannot take credit cards. And the attendant cannot take cash either. And we don’t have debit cards. So we left with our luggages and walked around for two hours looking for a another hotel that fit our budget to stay. The advertisement on Expedia was misleading and didn’t reflect the actual condition of the hotel. So we’re asking for a refund.

Dear Salah Ihsan,We are sorry to hear about your bad experience last night. On our website it clearly explains that we rent apartments and not hotel rooms. It also explains that this is why we do not have a working reception on the premises.The front door can be opened using any credit card by inserting it into a clearly marked slot. It is not necessary to call for help at this stage normally. Again, we are sorry that this proved to be a problem for you.At this stage, the only way to access your apt. is by using the automatic checking machine. As far as we can tell the machine worked fine for the other guests who used it yesterday but again, we are sorry.Our machine has no problem accepting all valid credit cards and apparently there was an issue with your pin number. We have never heard of a credit card that does not require a pin code and our check in machine obviously doesn't recognise this either.And again, we are sorry that we couldn't accept your dollars as a cash payment but as was pointed out we do not have an official reception and therefor can not provide a money exchange service. I was also given the information that someone from our sister hotel offered to come to you and help but that unfortunately you refused that offer of help.It is because of these reasons I am sorry but we will have to refuse your request for a refund.Once again, we are very sorry to hear about your bad experience when trying to stay with us. And we do hope to see you again under different circumstances.Yours regretfully Loft Team

Great location, near the train station for easy access. Close to Mirabell gardens and witching walking distance to everything Salzburg has to offer. The apartment was clean, had a full kitchen and was comfortable. The beds were very hard and the pillows could be replaced with thicker ones. Other than that happy.

This is a great centrally located hotel that you can walk easily to everywhere. My only complaint is that the pillows were very flat and it would of been nice to get 4 pillows for a king size bed.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Location was excellent: halfway between the main train station and the old town. The room was in really good condition: seemed like everything was brand new. The best thing, since I’m really sensitive to noise is that the room was silent: couldn’t hear a thing from neighboring rooms or the busy street below. We arrived late at night, and contrary to what other reviews have said, the contactless checkin was very easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Ok - but check in is annoying especially with luggage. This place definitely has no front desk. You can check in on your own but it is a lengthy process and if you have a lot of bags and a kid it is tough. The rooms were great, clean and very spacious. Beds were comfortable and it was great for a family.

Cute modern little apartment with a comfy bed. We had to ask for more pillows, the set on the bed were totally flat. No garbage can in the bathroom and you are basically on your own during your stay because “the office” is only staffed a few hours per day. Good location and secure building however the security door leading to the rooms SLAMS each time someone uses it and literally rattles your apartment. Probably would not stay here again.

We liked the location of the hotel, close to the train station and to the Mirabell Palace. The room was big with a lot of closets, 2 TV’s and a big washroom! I didn’t give five stars to this hotel because the reception is closed at night. Otherwise we had a nice stay at this property.

That was the worst hotel experience ever. The whole building was dark Hard to even see the hotel sign. We got there at 9:00 pm. It was almost the sunset time No one was there took us half an hour to get in . After 2 hours fire alarm went off. Running down the stairs, we figured out there are some other people in this so called hotel , too. Nobody explained what was the reason for this incident. Like no one cared. Very very cold and unwelcoming place.

Great base to explore the city
This was a great location! It made navigating Salzburg so simple to be on the street with Mirabell Palace. Next time I’m here I would stay here! The reception made it so easy for me as well - they extended my stay 2 days and printed everything I needed to find a tour and catch the train. Great base to explore Salzburg.

This hotel is located in a quiet area minutes away from the town center and also close to the train station. It's essentially a self-service apartment compound. Very modern and avant-garde. The bathroom lacks a bit privacy

Comfortable, quiet, secure; easy Walking distance
5 adults (1 53yo and 4 20-something’s) stay3 nights. Used as base while we explored all day. Easy walking to train and rental car (we used for a day) and Old Salzburg. One block to local bus stop for further trips ( we did Hollbrun Manor) Comfortable, quiet, secure. This unit’s Pullout futon couch was sufficient to curl up on, probably best for kids otherwise 2 king size beds. Lots of bath towels though I found no hand or face towels.

The room was very excellent, but the lack of any personnel on the property during our stay was problematic. Check-in was impersonal, and while we had few difficulties, other guests had trouble getting it right. This is an excellent property in a good location and it's worth the investment of having an employee there from 8 am to 4 pm minimum.

Bad First Impression, But Turned Out Great
Prior to arriving at this hotel, I received two email messages about (1) needing to download an app in order to physically get in and (2) needing to have a negative Covid test in order to check in. Both messages were unsettling, and as it happened, both were false. I knew that the hotel was unmanned, but the messages made me nervous about having booked this place. Thankfully, once we arrived, everything worked flawlessly and we had no problems checking in. Also, our suite was very nice. And we LOVED the location. It was an easy walk from the train station and an easy walk to Salzburg Old Town.

The check in was terrible!!! The machine doesn’t work. It was supposed to do the check in and nothing happened. We have to call and somebody came and tried to do the check in but didn’t worked. The next day the elevator didn’t work. Besides that the room was really good, the location excelllent, and it was clean.

This is a completely UNSTAFFFED hotel! I would not have booked it if it had been clear there was NO staff, only a machine to check in, and also no parking garage. That information all came in an email after booking. The room itself was fine but we spent 20 min getting through the electronic check in and couldn’t check in even 15 min early or get any help, because only a machine there… I don’t recommend.

What a lovely stay
The hotel is in a great condition with contactless check-in. We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is great! Good value for money

Awesome Location
Perfect location to walk the city. The room is extremely large and plenty of space for a family of 4. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
