The good Parking available..20 min walk to town centre Large rooms friendly reception staff Cheap for location . The bad Our non smoking room towels etc smelled strongly of cigarettes our daughters room didn’t .Clearly fully booked as no other room offered changed towels at least . Rather dated Side door wedged open to car park until late evening seemed like a security issue as the reception couldn’t see who was coming and going .

The Das Grüne Hotel is on a very busy road with traffic noise extending into the late and early hours. We originally booked a street side hotel room. With no eco-unfriendly room A/C and windows needing to be opened on warm summer nights, we much regretted it. Thankfully, our hosts moved us into a quiet guest house at the rear after two nights. + Breakfasts are superb at this hotel. + Convenient bus stops for the City centre and airport - Das Grüne Hotel does not have full spa facilities, just a small sauna which was out of order throughout our stay.

The most expensive hotel during my trip we stayed 2 nights. Beautiful hotel. We had 5 bed family room. Very spacious and clean. Bus station is right outside the hotel. City center is only 10 minutes away. Highly recommend.

It’s a charming boutique hotel. The rooms, toilets, linen and common areas are very elegant and squeaky clean. The reception staff are warm, very helpful. The bus stop is just outside the hotel which makes it very convenient.

This hotel is in a residential area outside of the city. It is walkable, but using the near by buses is probably more convenient. The room is basic, but had everything we needed. There's also free parking. My only complaint is that its on a fairly busy road and the building is not sound proof. I had to sleep with ear plugs even with the windows closed.

Exzellenter Service, sehr gutes Frühstück
Ich war nur für zwei Nächte hier, aber habe mich pudelwohl gefühlt. Das, was dieses Hotel besonders macht, sind die Mitarbeiter und das konsequente Umsetzen von Nachhaltigkeit, angefangen bei den Handtüchern aus Bio-Baumwolle über die Photovoltaik bis hin zur Serviette, die biologisch abbaubar ist. Natürlich ist das Frühstück komplett bio, vom Kaffee Werner über den tollen Käse und das Frühstücksei bis hin zum Schinken. Das Lesen der Zutatenliste macht Freude, weil humorig verfasst. Im Keller gibt es eine kleine Sauna, deren Holzbänke auffallend gut gepflegt sind und sogar der Ausgusskübel gefüllt und mit Duft versehen vorbereitet sind. Das kriegen 95% Prozent der Hotels mit Sauna nicht hin, hier offenbar Standard. Das Personal ist wirklich hilfsbereit, sehr umsichtig und wenn man sein am Abreisetag abgestelltes Gepäck abholt nachmittags, bekommt man sogar noch ein Getränk angeboten. Insbesondere die junge Dame an der Rezeption scheint ein Engel zu sein. Es gibt aber auch einen Wermutstropfen: Das Zimmer ist komfortabel, aber es ist recht hellhörig. Alles in allem ist dieses Hotel eine klare Empfehlung.

The beds were very comfortable, and the unit was clean. We had a family suite and the only awkward part was that the bathroom/shower door was a frosted glass barn door right next to two of the beds, so it did not feel very private. (That said, you could not see anything through the door - just shadows. It is just that it wasn't lockable and felt exposed.)

Sejour horrible. Notre chambre donnait sur une rue tres passante donc impossible d'ouvrir les fenetres a cause du bruit de la circulation, pas de clim, un ventilateur fatigué...des bruits de pas au dessus...bref deux nuits presque blanches. A fuir absolument!!
