It's quaint and well decorated. Close to the some of the best restaurants. Staff are warm and friendly. Breakfast is excellent.

This hotel is in one of the best locations for this city. a safe zone, close to many bars restaurants and a great amount of music on weekends. the rooms are nice and quiet. it is a quaint place and the staff is great. the building is not the hilton, but if you want true flavor of the city it is just right!

Hotel in the center of all the action
The hotel is really nice; colonial style, beautiful interior design. It is amazingly clean, I don't know how they manage to get rid of the dust. The furnishing of the rooms is simple, even somewhat outdated but it is very uncomfortable and unpretentious. The staff is very helpful. If you need a taxi or uber ordered for you, they'll do it and will fix the price for you which I found really helpful, especially with taxis. I was there for work and needed a ride every day for a week. The receptionist never hesitated to get me the best price. The hotel is located right in the middle of all the night life action on and around Rio Vermehlio. It does get pretty noisy on the weekend but the noise stops at around midnight. The breakfast is included in the price and it is amazing: fresh papaya, different tapioca products, all traditional Brazilian and Bahian food. It has a beautiful courtyard where one can have their coffee in the morning. There is a beach right behind it. It's not the best beach, it's pretty rocky but there are small boats one can rent.

a great place to stay!
Everything was wonderful-the neighborhood is safe and fun with good restaurants and close to beach. The breakfast delicious, the room fine and comfortable. It is very pretty. Wagner at the front desk was helpful and delightful. The ladies in the kitchen were warm and friendly. The only difficult part was the keys- very confusing.

Cute Hotel, Easy to love
Regal decore, comfy bed and plenty of fresh towels. Great location just one block from the action. Public bus runs frequently and will get you to Barra Beach or Barra Shopping for about $1. Uber is easy and cheap. Quite, clean and safe place to rest your head. The staff is quite kind and will assist you with ease. Breakfast is nice.

Uma experiência mágica num casarão do século XIX, todo reformado para o século XIX. Um ar romântico e acolhedor. Um prédio cheio de histórias no coração do belo bairro Rio Vermelho. Perto de tudo. A pousada está muito bem localizada numa propriedade agradável. Os quartos estão ok, a limpeza deixou a desejar, sobretudo no banheiro. Embora fiz a reserva para 2 adultos 1 criança o quarto só tinha uma cama de casal. Após tratativas com a recepção o assunto foi resolvido. O café da manhã é farto de boa qualidade mas não tinha suficientes mesas para os hóspedes no dia 1/5

Estadia perfeita, tudo conforme descrito, Hotel super charmoso, limpo e aconchegante, cama boa, ar condicionado gelando, serviço de quarto diário. Café da manhã simples porém muito bom, tudo fresco e bem feito, nada a reclamar. Funcionários prestativos, ambiente agradável, no coração do Rio Vermelho, perto de tudo que o bairro tem a oferecer. Ficamos 5 dias e amamos a estadia!!! Funcionários super simpáticos, principalmente um senhor que fica a noite, Cafe da manhã maravilhoso, tapioca feira quentinha na hora, quarto aconchegante, banheiro com água bem quentinha, ar condicionado maravilhoso. Jardim lindo, pousada sempre limpa, cheirosa e bem cuidada. Com certeza voltaríamos!!!

Bom hotel
O hotel é bonito e bem localizado e o atendimento é atencioso. Nosso quarto tinha um ar condicionado que apresentou alguns problemas e o quarto tinha umas manchas de umidade no teto acima da janela que não vimos antes de ocupar, o que poderia ser facilmente resolvido. O café da manhã é bem servido desde que não seja no horário de pico.

Muita história num só lugar.
Achei a experiência de ficar no Hotel Catharina Paraguaçu muito prazerosa e diferente. É sempre bom participar e viver a história. Cada cantinho é um encanto. Tudo de bom gosto inclusive a parte da restauração. Voltaria a me hospedar nele. Local excelente.
