The parking was hard as the hotel was full and there was a conference there so there were local people there making it tough for hotel guests to find parking. That is my only complaint.

Beautiful setting on the lake, walking distance to town and the wonderful wharf. Hotel is superb! Great dining options right in the hotel. Bed was super comfortable and room updated and clean. Will definitely stay here again

This is my second and last stay at this hotel. I stayed there 6 weeks ago, on second floor facing lake, and it was quite lovely. This stay, I was placed on 4th floor facing lake - there was an industrial heavy duty fan/exhaust that intermittently came on all night. It was impossible to sleep. It’s not possible that the hotel is unaware of this - and still choose to place guests paying $300 per night in that room?? Last stay ever!

It's a good location, but the natural views lend to the peacefulness of the area. I have stayed there one other time and the experience was horrible, the hotel loud, and very rude staff. That was about 4 years ago. I booked again due to necessity and was very surprised at how wonderful it was. Thank you

I think $40 for a 'pet friendly" hotel is a high price to pay for this service.

No kettle in room, just a microwave - what for as no cutlery provided.Coffee undrinkable and no tea provided, likewise no milk, other than some chemical concoction. Not a place for international travellers used to basic in-room amenities.

We visited this resort off season and stayed in a lakeside suite with balcony. The room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. The balcony was old and spongy when we walked on it. There was water on it even though there had been no rain. There was no table on the balcony and although the view was amazing it was not a great place to hang out. Unfortunately we chose to visit during the Provincial Hockey tournament. The hotel was noisy, and busy and many of the resort amenities were closed. We did enjoy the onsite restaurant. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. There are some beautiful walks in the area and the location is wonderful. Overall a pleasant stay and we could see the potential but the resort was not at it's best when we visited.

Swimming pool security was inadequate people were accessing the pool after the closing time and noise transferred up to our room till after midnight.

Staff were amazing. We were there with a hockey team and parents. Very accommodating, patient and happy. Spring time is messy time but I can’t imagine how great it would be to stay in the summer

Very well kept property. Room was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful safe location. Conveniently located to all downtown attractions, dining etc. Next to parks and walking trails along the lake.

Very nice place to stay. I would say the only thing that woke us early and often was the train. The train would shake the beds. Other than this the hotel was a great stay.

I liked that there were plenty of facilities, both restaurants were good and the pool and hot tub were nice. Space in the hot tub was limited, there appeared to be a Group of local people meeting after work?

The pool and hot tub are not open to the general public but we do have an Athletic Club Membership that does have access to their use. The members do not typically use the pool and hot tub when the hotel is busy but this may not have been the case during your visit.We hope that you will come and see us again so that we may provide a more positive experience for you.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway. We found our room was very large and clean. The bed was very comfortable too. My wife enjoyed a massage at the spa and she said it was good. We were able to walk into town for dinner.

Brutal. Had to call down 3 times because of Christmas party DJ’s, kids and myself couldn’t sleep. I get it people are having fun but when travelling and paying the same price as when we stay at the Fairmont in Banff, this seems wrong. Loud till close till midnight from music then stomping all over the place and woken up by 5 am. It’s just disappointing when paying that kind of money for a supposedly nice hotel. Last stay was great, short of room condition. May as well save your money and book at a more reasonably priced hotel because no one there cared about the legitimate concerns.
