High Desert Inn was just what we hoped it would be. It was convenient, clean, and pleasant. The staff was professional and courteous. We were able to enjoy our evening in Salena and get back on the road the next day. We enjoyed the food and service at El Mexicano just up the road a bit.
The amazing rock formations at Capitol Reef NP are well within reach of Salina.

The bed was very comfortable with really soft bedding and enough of it. The ac was not overpowering when it was on. The room was super spacious. Only draw back was the shower. It was like being hit with a pressure washer and no way to lesson it as the faucet had to be all the way on in order to get to the hot position.

The room had recently been renovated from flooring to overhead light fixtures. The heater kept the room warm even in below freezing night temps without the loud fan some motels have that go on and off all night. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was personable. We would stay again.
