The 1784 building is beautifully designed and restored. Attention to detail, love and grace abound. Breakfast is delicious with fresh breads and croissants, homemade jams, fresh fruit and wonderful French cheeses. The grounds are lovely, even in early spring. I am so happy to have stayed in this charming home in the South...

"The bed was not comfortable, it felt like a futon. The room was very clean and otherwise comfortable. Nice shower. Checkin time was posted at 2:00 but our room was not ready until 2:30. "The hotel / room / bedding and property were clean. The staff were cheerful, polite and helpful. There was a bit of noise due to a group of chaperoned teenagers staying on the same floor... Loud talking / laughing / running in the hallway, door slamming, etc. The pool was open, and i was told that the restaurant was closed for meals other than breakfast."
