Loved the apartment. Really clean and lots of space. Pool area was clean and not busy. The breakfast set up needs looking at - having a buffet style would help with congestion and time to receive food. But can't fault the staff. All really friendly and helpful.

Cold shower, requested quiet room, placed by lift on a lower floor. Noisy outside. QR code booking service for breakfast not working. Front desk not proactive!

Property was in a good area, walkable to malls and shops. The apartment was comfortable and very clean! Thanks for the hospitality!

The apartment is advertised as having an entertainment package in the rooms, with Netflix etc, I was travelling for leisure so movie nights were a must, we got to the apartment and found out there was an ongoing issue with the internet on the televisions. I feel like if it's a long standing issue it should be noted somewhere.

We loved the pool, the size of the rooms and the kitchen, which made us feel at home! Very friendly staff, friendly service!

Would absolutely stay again. Only 1 negative.
We loved our stay here. The only real negative we found was the smart TV wasn’t smart accessible because they block everything. It wasn’t life altering, but when we were settling down at night, we would think about watching a movie together and we couldn’t because we couldn’t connect to the TV. But there are ports that you can plug into (hdmi) if you remember to bring a device to cast to. Perfect location in the center of Manchester. Very walkable, whether it’s to the mall, to get food or go explore the city. Very spacious. Booked the two bedroom suite. The kitchen had everything you could need for basic cooking. They let you know when you check in that they will give you more towels and clean throughout your stay but for an additional fee. Unless you’re staying more than seven(?) days. So make sure you hang your towels up and stay tidy. There’s also a washer/dryer (which we used). Sainsbury was directly across the street, so it was very convenient to run over if we needed anything and an Aldi in the mall which is within walking distance.

Everything would of been perfect except the hotel took money for a city tax at 2:30 in the morning but didn’t advise us that we had to pay this on check in I had to ask why they took this. They also took £100 security deposit which is fine but it takes 5-10 days to get this back which I think is a long time to hold funds. The main thing that let the stay down was we went for breakfast and had to sit outside as they said there were no tables but there were loads of empty tables. We ordered our breakfast at 9:30 all for the same breakfast nothing complicated. We were still waiting for our breakfast at 10:30. We asked at around 10 am and they said it wouldn’t be long . We had to leave due to living in a different city so we asked again at 10:30 to be told it would be atleast another 15 minutes but we had to leave for our 2.5 hour drive so we had to cancel the breakfast and went without and this was a big let down and a waste of our time. The room was lovely and location great but attention to detail and customer service in these areas did let it down for us unfortunately

Terrible receptionist on the 12th Feb 2024
My stay here was great as always however when we arrived on the 12th Feb with my family, we all experienced a very miserable receptionist who was not very pleasant. It doesn’t hurt to smile and make your guests feel welcome. I would suggest further training on customer service. Such a a shame as the hotel and facilities are excellent.

Apartment was beautiful couldn’t fault it, breakfast was included however we were not aware this had to be booked with the restaurant and the only available times when we checked in were 7am and 7.30am, not ideal for a Sunday morning!

We loved our stay at the City Suites Two, the reception staff was great, our apartment was clean, well-equipped and pleasant and we would definitely recommend this place. However, we had a dreadful experience for breakfast and when leaving the property. Breakfast: we were left waiting by the ebtrance with dew other couples for over 20 minutes. Staff were passing in front of us, without even acknowledging us. This was despite a number of tables being available and in all honesty, I've never experienced anything similar. When I eventually asked if this was normal, a very rude waiter didn’t even apologise. The breakfast was ok: I ordered a full English vegan breakfast which came with with sausages made with potatoes and peas. This again was disappointing as nowadays you would expect protein based sausages rather than a carbs based ones! The other issue we had was with the parking. We paid at the reception for the overnight parking and we were told that someone would've been at the barrier to let us go out. The car park is conveniently located just outside the premises but when we arrived at the barrier, therevwss nobody waiting for us. As we had no reception in the car park, my husband had to go outside to ring the reception. It took 3 attempts for someone to answer and then eventually for someone to come to let us out. The guy that came out again didn’t even acknowledged the fact that at this point we have been waiting for over 20 minutes. No apologies were given too.

Great apartment
Lovely apartment, and great facilities. Shower tray was little slippy so maybe a bath mat could be useful. Also no instruction booklets for any of the appliances which I think would have been good to have. However, we had lovely couple days and can highly recommend and also highly recommend the breakfast.

Excellent business stay
Really well looked after apart hotel. Good gym. Decent space. Good appliances. Working area in apartment could be better but very good. Helpful staff.

The apartment was lovely and clean. The bed however was very uncomfortable I didn’t sleep well at all which is unfortunate because I would of loved to come back if it wasn’t for the bed. Also the steam room was not working even after one of the staff members said he had turned it on.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunnning. The beds are so comfortable too. Breakfast waa like eating in a restaurant. The food wasnt quick but ir was fresh and delicious.

Great hotel, great stay
Had a great stay in city suites2. What a great hotel . We had a studio room and it had everything you would need for your stay . Breakfast was very tasty . Swimming pool was fab and most importantly the staff were excellent , very friendly and nothing was a bother to them . The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of vi toria train station, ao arena where we were atttending a concert, arndale shopping centre and lots of restaurants etc. We will devinitely stay here again.

Great apartment, not so great check in
Great apartment, not so great check in process. You have to take the payment card and you need ID. They hold a deposit payment on your card and it was a different amount for different guests. The sign at the entrance (there are two) wasn't clear that it was CitySuites Two. The sign just said CitySuites. Inside the apartment is everything you would need. Toiletries, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, cups, glasses, cutlery etc.

Superb stay
The hotel was fabulous, the staff were friendly and everything from parking to breakfast ran like clockwork. The sofas in the room were very comfy, the showers were spacious - the whole room was luxurious and the breakfast was high quality and generous. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone
