The staff were really friendly, especially Erica who went above and beyond — she was just so lovely and welcoming. We paid extra for birthday decorations for our mum’s room, and the team really went the extra mile to make it look beautiful, which made her day feel so special. I wouldn’t class the hotel as a 5*, more of a solid 4*, but I honestly couldn’t fault it and would definitely stay again if I came back to Cape Verde!

The hotel grounds were lovely as were the staff. However the hotel is very outdated and will look slightly different to the photos. We also had ants all over our bed when we first arrived so had to get the covers changed twice and the shower towels sometimes did not appear clean.

Didn’t realise our room would be next to building site. Staff nice, food and drink nice. Hotel looked dated and felt ‘not quite finished’. Blood stain on one of the blanket throws on the bed. Felt we were here for too short a stay (3 nights) to change rooms as we were told we could only change rooms the following day. Despite this we loved our short break.

When we arrive at 2 o'clock in the morning we discovered that we had no room there,even if we had booked in April and we had to go to another Melia resort in the nearby. we were very disappointed also for the standard of the premises that it is not at all a 5-star hotel, as you can see from the picture. We had to argue all the time with the respinsables to have 2 roomkeys (not available we had just one ), to enter the spa and to reserve restaurants. Luckily all the ordinary staff was very kind and available to help and find solutions. The other Melia Dunas has more facilities than Tortuga and the beach is fantastic. Overall holiday was nice but for sure there is a lot to improve

We were sad that La Cabana didn't have Calamari and Spinach Crockettes. Also some of the food like pasta was cold that should have been hot at the Spices. We would have liked to have seen some pizza at the buffet.

The atmosphere and landscaping looks really great. However, we couldn’t make reservations for dinner because they were always full, minutes after opening time. It was nearly impossible to get hot water in our villa so we took cold showers every night. Lastly, none of the bars would make any drinks without alcohol. For being “all inclusive” they only mean for people who drink alcohol. We stayed in a hotel in Praia that had burning hot water and was a fraction of the cost. I won’t be staying here again.

Wenn man gerne Party mag, kommt man auf seine Kosten. Für ruhigen Urlaub ist das Melia nichts. Eher bisschen ballermann Atmosphäre, liegt aber an den Kurzurlaubern aus Spanien und Portugal. Das Essen ist meistens abgekühlt, von der Auswahl aber gut. Es wird sich um viel Abwechslung bemüht und es ist alles da. Zimmer werden täglich geputzt, Sauberkeit ist trotzdem so ne Sache, es ist halt nicht wie in deutschen Resorts gründlich gesäubert. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und weitläufig, drumherum allerdings eher unsauber und ungepflegt. Das Personal ist ohne Ausnahme super nett und hilfsbereit! Insgesamt ok aber nicht wiederholenswert. Für den Preis bekommt man anderswo mehr Qualität

ho viaggio in coppia non abbiamo soggiornato al tortura ma al melia dunas mi sono trovato benissimo suite super confortevole, pulizia eccellente un giorno si uno no ci cambiavano biancheria letto e bagno, ristoranti super ottimi, con servizio eccellente ma devo veramente fare un super elogio alle tre ragazze della recpsion Eidimara, Arabella e Patricia per la loro gentilezza e disponibilità infatti al secondo giorno del mio arrivo ho rotto il telefono e loro mi hanno supportata egregiamente prestandomi il loro telefono personale x chiamare what.sup mio figlio in italia e sono veramente state tre angeli x me, assieme alla rappresentate LOKEA sig. Serena che è stata favolosamente disponibile ,infatti hai potuto nonostante il disguido godere di una magnifica vacanza, consiglio sia l'hotel Melia Dunas che il Tortura sono veramente eccellenti e tutto il personale compresi i camerieri dei ristoranti molto gentili e disponibili, consiglio vivamente questi hotel e ritornerò sicuramente a Capo Verde a SAL.

Bra läge och mysigt område med härlig grönska mellan husen. Miserabel Wi-Fi bara på 3 ställen på området, inget Wi-Fi i lägenheten. Fina poolområden. Bufferestaurangen var väldigt bullrig och maten var smaklös, fisk o kött var torrt och segt. Bokning krävdes för middagsrestaurangerna. Där var maten något bättre men långsam service. Trevlig personal men begränsad engelska. Rummen var trevliga men dåligt påfyllt med tvål m.m.

Im Fitnessraum funktionierte keines der Geräte. Internet gibt es auf den Zimmern nicht. Personal unfreundlich.

Connexion internet déplorable. Ce n’est pas un 5* mais plutôt un petit 4*. Le personnel n’est pas formé pour un 5*. Les suites sont très bien. A la plage les parasols sont tous à refaire mais autrement c’est très agréable. Nourriture très bonne à part au Pasta Nostra, décevant.

The property staff was not courteous nor helpful when I called ahead and told them I’d land early. Upon arrival, I had to wait 5 hours for an “early” check in. The food was not good. The redeeming quality is the beach.
