Excellent hotel for an overnight stay.
This was my second stay. A very good 3 course dinner at a reasonable price. Conveniently located and a good breakfast. Raphael is an excellent host , and the service is friendly and efficient.

Disappointed
Have used this hotel several times over the years. Was very disappointed by person manning reception. Seemed untutored in this role and spoke no English which might have made some difference. Place really needs a facelift. Outside the rooms waste bins overflowing and no effort to tidy the area. Room just ok. Breakfast poor for the cost. Will never be back to it.

Pleasant & convenient night stop
a very pleasant one night stop over ideally situated for us. Pleasant and friendly staff. Enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Both of us had a good nights sleep and found the bed very comfortable. Easy free on site parking. Would stay again.

Black hairs on the floor.
Unfriendly receptionist. The room was basic, but adequate for an overnight stay. Decor and general.condition looks tired. A large bunch of black hair stuck to my foot, so the room cannot have been swept. This makes us wonder whether the other hygiene protocols were adhered to.

Open for late arrival sensible and practical
Good service from staff, very well situated and great if you have pet and want to keep a close eye on your car. Rooms are a little noisy and in need of some modernization, but was is important is this hotel seems to be one of the few where they do have staff after 11pm so if you are going to arrive late its worth using them because a lot of the other hotels are simply shut up after 11pm which is a killer after a 6 hour drive from the Channel ports!

A wee note to suggest exterior of hotel needs care
Everything was fine room clean, bathroom clean with good hot water shower, just a wee bitty cramped. Unfortunately the exterior of the building is badly in need of maintenance especially the stairs to the 1st floor, plus lighting on them very dim. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

This is not what you actually see on arrival, this is the entrance to the restaurant. The whole property was old and very scruffy in need of paint and repairs. I complained about my room at the front and was given another at the rear which was an improvement, but certainly not my standard. Bed was comfy shower was great and towels were white and fluffy.

Comfortable room and bed. Shower over very high bath, unable to use it. Not pensionable friendly. Evening meal very French. Must request suitable room when physically restricted. Some staff very good English.

Everything great except the single bed
Bed was not at all comfortable as they tend to give you twin single beds. Being larger I find this too small and the mattress is not comfortable. Everything else from bathroom to restaurant to staff and service was all spot on.

Great location
Stayed overnight on route to the uk, great location, and room and facilities. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise which included scrambled eggs and bacon. Car parking easy and on site.

An adequate overnight stop
This is a run of the mill motel and the exterior is in need of some TLC. The rooms are clean but small with the minimum of services. There is a TV with just French channels, a kettle and one each of coffee and tea sachets. The towels in the bathroom were barely adequate in size and ours appeared to be damp and most inefficient in drying bodies. The restaurant was good but there was no explanation of the dishes in English. I know this sounds parochial but it is unusual these days not to have English sub-titles on menus and at least one or two English speaking channels on the television.

Campaniles as good value for overnight stays
Have stayed at this campanile before along with various others, it appears to be ready for an update to the same standard as others we have stayed in. The staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is very good.

We've stayed here quite often on our trips south. It's easy to get to from motorway, it has friendly, polite staff, the restaurant food is good, all in all, it's a good value for money hotel. Clean room. The only annoying thing for us this time was the arrival of a coach load of Portuguese people at midnight who thought nothing about shouting/door slamming/running around for over an hour with no consideration for those of us trying to sleep ..... this is not the hotel's fault!!!

Convient for autoroute, but that is about all
Chosen for convenience, but spoilt by complete absence of internet accesss, which could not be resolved by receptionist when we arrived & still no access the next morning ! Also, choice of food options in the restaurant was very poor as was the quality of the food.

Satisfied.
Clean comfortable bedroom. Quiet area convenient to bakery and hyper market approx 200 metres. Staff friendly and efficient. Evening meal a choice of four main dishes, well presented and tasty. Have used this hotel three times and would recommend as a good overnight stop.
