"It was a great basic stay during our layover. The room was quiet even for being so close to the airport. We walked over before we knew there was a shuttle. Our bathroom was a little cramped and awkward but it was mostly a great stay."

"We've stayed here before and like it. There is a shuttle to and from the airport, which is useful (but please make a reservation). We really like the Runway 28 bar/restaurant on the 3rd floor, overlooking the airport. But, if it's not open the restaurants on the ground floor is also good. The only problem this time was that it was very hot (not the hotel's fault) but there is no a/c in the room, just a small fan, so it was almost impossible to sleep. Also, the kettle in our room was not working, so we couldn't make early morning tea/coffee before getting an early morning shuttle."

"Check-in is easy and convenient. If you do an early online check-in, the hotel will send you a code securely, and on the property, you can go to a kiosk to do self-check-in and register the hotel key cards on your own. Of course, they have employees ready to help. I've never seen this system, but it is quite ideal and convenient for late arrivals. The room was comfortable and clean. It had two complementary waters and a tea station. On our floor, they even had a vending machine (not free) with drinks, candies, and other helpful/common items you might need/want while traveling, which was really convenient. No need to search for a convenience store. However, I will say that one water bottle was €2.50! With the reliable hotel-to-airport shuttle, this is an ideal hotel to stay at. Plus, it was only a 25-35 minute drive into the center of Dublin. Just remember that there are TWO Clayton Hotels in close proximity, especially when going to the shuttles (they have different pick-up spots) and when telling taxi drivers."

"Convenient place to stay near the airport. Shuttle was punctual and driver very helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom is modern and clean. Gym on-site was convenient as well. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel restaurant with plentiful selections and tasty meals."

"I needed an overnight stay before catching a flight the following morning. All the airport hotels were ridiculously expensive (170+ euros) and then I found this option to stay at DCU for about 75 euros. Managed to get the bus from the airport to DCU which cost 2.70 euros [NOTE they only take cash on the bus and they do not give change, luckily I had 8 euros in change to cover my bus fare to DCU and back to the airport the following morning] Bus stop was right outside DCU when getting dropped off. Note the bus stop for pickup when going to the airport on the other side of the road + a small walk away. There is a bus stop directly across from the DCU entrance but this is drop-off only. You also have to flag the bus down to stop otherwise it will just drive past you !! Had received good instructions via email telling me where to find the accommodation reception, so found it no bother. Staff were great at checking me in and giving a map of the campus to get to the accommodation block. Room was basic (it's a student dorm so I expected this) but it was clean and provided a bed/bedding and towels for the shower/bathroom. I was also able to pop in a use the campus bar to get a drink. All in all, it served my purpose really well in that I had a bed for the night and a shower for the morning at a reasonable price. Would certainly use again."

"We stayed here one night before our early flight as it's 6 minutes from the airport. The hotel was extremely clean with fun decor and an extremely comfortable bed. We also appreciated the refillable water stations. It was walking distance to a few restaurants. Their airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day, which is extremely impressive. Highly recommended and would stay again."
