"What a gem of a place! Beautiful original pub building. Bedroom was spacious and clean. We had a room with a double and a single bed. The double was a bit too hard for us, but the room has everything you need, so can't complain. Breakfast was really impressive and everything was cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We feel like we've found a gem and will definitely use again when we've got a gig in Manchester."

"In general hotel out of date. No central heating. Electric heaters in the room. In a bath in 2 taps hot water - no cold 🙄😀There was at least 3 inches of dirt on the window ledges on the stars. Breakfast mini portions and one glass of juice. Max 1 star hotel. 1 star for clean room. Never again. "

"We arrived at this venue last weekend, and within a minute of being shown to our room we decided there is no way we could possibly stay there. The entire place is absolutely filthy, really appalling. I complained about this but the owner responded and i quote “not my problem pal, get what you pay for”. Stay well clear"

Only my personal preference would be cotton bedding and heavier duvet and better quality pillows for the winter also the overhead kitchen cupboards are in need of an update as quite difficult to shut . Great communication though and excellent overall . Would stay again for sure."

The owners were incredibly helpful, especially when we let them know we wouldn’t be arriving until midnight — they couldn’t have been more accommodating. "Excellent; perfectly fit my needs as a solo traveller, although two people can easily fit. The location is very good in terms of quickly getting around the city. Host was tremendously helpful throughout my stay. The amenities provided are not inferior to facilitating a more prolonged stay. I was able to finish some work, as well as roam the city to my hearts content."

"Great size, lots of room to sleep six as advertised however the only bathroom and toilet is ensuite, so everyone else has to go through that couples bedroom to use facilities, not perfect. Could use some decorating but was very clean. "
