"I stayed on two separate occasions at the motel twice in a week in two different rooms. The first stay I would rate a 9/10 and the second a 7/10. Both were clean and comfortable. The water sound from the the room next door was extremely loud in the 2nd room. The staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful. Convenient stay to the ferry to Newfoundland."

"Clean room, hot tub was on deck. Super relaxing night. Close walk to main lodge for dinner and breakfast. Sauna was really wuick to heat up and had me sweating bullets. Beautiful views in a great location just off the main Cabot Trail road. Highly recommended. Will return"

"My husband and I had a wonderful couple of nights at Chanterelle. We stayed in a room in the main building. We loved the peacefulness of the place. It was such a relaxing place to stay. Breakfast was delicious! We booked dinner for the one evening. We were so glad we did. It was an 8 course meal. Every dish was excellent! Would recommend if you’re looking for peace and relaxation and excellent food!"

"We stayed in the Old Barn section of the property and I think the name speaks for itself (although it shouldn't at a resort setting). The building has character, but also a very bad old smell. There are small things that can be changed to still keep the character but get rid of the old musk smell. The room was not very clean unfortunately. It looks like there was black mold in the AC system. Bathroom was also just quickly wiped by the looks of it. Really easy to replace the shower curtain for...

"Everything was great! I was doing the Cabot Trail in early season and were happy they were open, friendly and right by the Tim Hortons! I had a nice stay and the shower head was great. WiFi worked too."

"I was nervous booking this after reading some poor reviews, but our experience couldn’t have been more opposite! We absolutely loved the glamping experience! The site was still under construction during our visit (only 3 domes open), but the ones that are finished are just the cutest! It looks like a large building for washrooms is being built next to the domes as well - we had to use the washrooms in the main motel this time, but that wasn’t an issue! The property manager was super helpful...
