Saint-Andre-et-Appelles

"Perfectly fine for a budget hotel, on an industrial estate off the ring road. It's clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The pool was a definate bonus on a hot day and for a pre breakfast swim. So long as you're not looking for rustic, romantic, french charm, then it's a good place for a stop over on a long journey."

"The proprietors are superb. The property has been extensively upgraded to a superb standard. The pool is perfect for relaxing around as is the number of chairs and tables undercover. BBQ if you wish. The mature trees are so colourful. In 7 years of travel around France this has to be our number one pick. "

"The staff were great. But for the room think 'No-Frills'. Not even a kettle."

"Basic low end hotel. Small room, ok bed, small bathroom. Restaurant trying to be high end but the service is not good and the main course was over cooked. Too bad."

"Everything was perfect Lovely and relaxing after traveling The swimming pool is a great bonus The hosts were great"

"It was very convenient for sightseeing. There is a public parking lot across the street as well as street parking. We were there in late September and it was easy to find parking."

"Loved the location, good value & very convenient for the old town. Nice pool. Lovely helpful staff. Secure parking"

"A great stay with a great host. Very relaxing environment with a cool family story. Breakfast is yummy. A short drive away to St Emillion. Highly recommend."
