Very beautiful hotel with kind staff. The view is amazing. The rooms were properly cleaned but some more stubborn stains were prominent in the bathroom and the toilet seat was a little crooked.
It was amazing stay with my mom. Even though we couldn’t try the swimming pool because of the weather, the infinity pool from the pool was amazing. The breakfast was also amazing. Staffs were so so kind. Would like to visit again with my siblings
we stayed at the Mong village for a few days, the staffs were extremely friendly and the view was amazing. Wish they serve breakfast a little bit longer, but everything else was very nice and peaceful. Thank you!
The room is nice, view was great, but for the price it was better to stay in town. The restaurant is not good and there are no other dini g options around. The hot tub was not hot and we were looking forward to using it with the view.
We loved out stay at this hotel! Amazing view from the room on the rice fields terraces and the mountains. Very clean and beautiful facilities. We initially didn’t get the room we booked but after telling the staff they moved us the next day (we arrived in middle of the night) and offered a voucher for the restaurant. The delicious breakfast is offering a nice panel of vietnamese food, that’s what we wanted and loved it!
It’s a 5 min drive to the city I highly suggest renting a motorbike as it will save you from expensive taxi rides :)
We stayed at the Mong Village for 3 days/2 nights, the best part about this hotel is the location. A little off limit from the village of Sa Pa, it brings tranquility and wonderful views of the rice fields and mountains surrounding the valley. The heated swimming pool with grandiose views is also a winner as I travelled with two teenagers more than happy to post pictures on their social networks. The architectural style of the hotel and bungalows fits perfectly with the landscape. The personnel of the resort is very nice and very helpful as they care to every aspects of your stay and propose themselves to arrange guided treks in the nearby villages. Included breakfast is very good and restaurant is ok too for dinner. Rooms are nice, a bit old but this can bring charm. Overall we spent there a fantastic moment and I would recommend to anybody!
Celebrated my mum’s birthday in this quaint beautiful resort. If you are travelling with an elderly or someone with mobility issue, May want to consider the flights of stairs in this resort (or any other sapa resorts for that matter). We did struggle a little but despite that, our stay in Mong Village was amazing. I’ll say it is a 10/10 for me!
I was out looking for a different kind of resort in the first place - one that is less mass market, cozy and relaxing. This one checked all boxes! Love the enchanted looking bungalows - very clean, tranquil, has a great view and comes with heater and great wifi. Service of the resort team is also excellent - always there when needed, May it be via WhatsApp or call. Despite all the steps, they are always prompt in getting to our bungalows whenever we needed help. Very helpful in helping my mum up the stairs too whenever she needed it. Resort may be a little out of the way but nothing a metered taxi cannot resolve (less than 100k vnd). Absolutely worth it in exchange for the peace and quiet and great views. Food wise, dinner is better than breakfast in my opinion. Enjoyed their hotpot a lot on day 1. Breakfast menu could do a little switching up but the range is still very good considering the size of the resort.
The hotel and its views of the rice fields and valley below are absolutely amazing!
So I start with 10/10 and work back from there.
Location about 3km from town, so not too bad with a grab or a hired motorbike like we had.
because we got in late and didn’t want to go back to town - try the restaurant at the hotel.. not our best decision, we ordered a simple spring rolls, chicken fried rice and grilled pork. Worst meal in Vietnam so far unfortunately.. so many fantastic restaurants in town, go there!
I am guessing different breakfast chef, because breakfast prepared was really good.
Now the stairs.. whilst I saw the stairs on the pictures, I had no idea there were so many. Reception is at road level and then you walk down from there 50? Stairs, then your at pool level.. go up another set 15? to breakfast/restraunt. Then your room, down the 15? To pool level then another 30? Which curve unevenly..
so there is no quick duck out to the mart from this hotel keep that in mind. I am not unfit and live in a 2 story house, so I’m used to stairs.. but a walk from the room to reception is a work out. If you are not up for a workout, pick a different hotel
Couple of things I didn’t notice when booking
- no mini fridge in the room
- no TV, whilst it’s daylight you will just be staring at the view off the balcony, but at night, just darkness
Staff were great, very little English on site apart from a couple of reception staff.

Rustic feel stay and I didn’t like the stairs down to the rooms. Coming up and down may not be good for most. Friendly staff and food is delicious
