We had a great stay here! It's around 20 mins drive from the center of Sapa, away from the crowds and traffic. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay, Laxsik is for you! The view is stunning and the service is topnotch.
Great place to unwind in Sa Pa! Best time to travel is May-October if you want sunshine and warmth. It was cold and misty here but the staff are amazing and food was fantastic! Loved the spa and the fireplaces in the bungalow.
An amazing view even it was not the best time to travel there. Very nice rooms in the middle of the nature.
The breakfast could be better and the prices for Dinner are too high.
Amazing stay outside of Sa Pa. The grounds are outstanding. The restaurant was excellent and staff very helpful in helping us with our travel needs. I would give this a 10/10
Wonderful place with such a great service and great people. Everything was incredible and perfect.
You can also rent motorcycle and have access to the gym in front of the swimming pool.
The staff at Laxsik are incredibly kind and helpful. After I checked out, they helped check if I had left anything behind. I had accidentally left my wallet in the room, and the hotel staff went the extra mile to send it to my hotel in Hanoi. I was truly touched and surprised by how sincere and down-to-earth they are. They genuinely do their best to ensure you have a comfortable and pleasant stay. I will definitely return to this hotel the next time I visit Sapa!
We stood at this beautiful hotel for 3 nights and it was the perfect amount of time in Sapa. The staff were welcoming and the view from our room was outstanding. I loved the soaking in the bathtub after a long day of exploring, and the staff can come in to start a fire for you. There are no T.V.s so this is a great place to disconnect for a while. The restaurant was good, and the spa services were great as well. Overall this was a wonderful stay, we came in the winter but I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the spring and summer time.
We loved our stay in this lodge! The management made us feel like home. The prices for the food are too low for its qualities and diversity. We can highly recommend this lovely place and would always chose to come back!
Laxsik is a quiet, beautiful oasis away from the crowds. Our cabin, the food, the service, the gardens, the stunning pool, the view and the incredibly welcoming and kind staff all made our two night stay exactly the relaxation we needed.
We were unsuccessful contacting Laxsik for information ahead of time on how to arrive from Sapa town, but the bus company office got us a taxi, and all was perfect from there.
The resort is pretty new, in fact, parts of it are still under construction. The resort is situated within a village and music from its neighbours can be heard, every day for me, if your room is near the property limits. Sound proofing between rooms is also not very good - you will hear your neighbours. Staff will go out of their way to please; good, sincere service. There is only one umbrella by the pool; no umbrella by the open air dining area. Overall the stay was okay but there is certainly room for improvement.
We booked for one night to be outside of Sapa. We emailed hotel several times before arrival to query dinner, spa availability, trekking opportunities and onward transfers. There was very poor communication and none of the links sent to us worked, so we ended up organising everything in Sapa. You need to budget another 200k-250k each way on taxi’s. Not sure of their eco credentials. But the view is amazing and the room was lovely. Just let down on customer service given the price paid.
The rooms were clean and there were spectacular views from the rooms, restaurant area and pool (which was accompanied by a reasonably equipped gym area), but that was as good as it got. The quality of service from the staff seemed non existent, a shame considering the enthusiasm and passion displayed at all our other hotel stays in Vietnam. For example, we was charged normal prices when happy hour was on, food was served cold to the pool area, and one of our shower heads in the room didn't work for our entire stay. Small things I know, but not what you expect for a high end hotel. The Ecolodge was also about a 15 minute drive from SaPa main town. Either download an app or hail down a local taxi as the hotel charge double what it should cost. Overall we left a little disappointed.
