"Room was ok but had just been taken over so under new management. Beds we had was really uncomfortable and no light bulbs in bedside lights . Very noisey outside and due to being hot had to have windows open. We were moved rooms to more comfortable beds and light bulbs in bedside lights . There is improvement to be done . We had a ground floor room which appeared to be a semi accessible room but had a weird sliding door which didn't slide well and whilst bed and overall cleanliness ok it was like sleeping in an old people care home"

Whilst the room served its purpose for a one night stay it was not in the best of repair, with a hole in the carpet, coffee stains on the wall, damaged plinth under the shower and no lock on the bathroom door which didn't actually completely close. "Booked as we had an early flight from East Midlands airport. Owner met us soon after we arrived. Nice room, great comfy bed, very good shower. Advised there was a good restaurant just down the road (15 min walk) which we visited and had a very tasty meal. Left in the morning too early for breakfast, but not host’s fault. Very good nights sleep. Plenty of parking. Road to airport a bit narrow and windy, but we made it in plenty of time. Would recommend."
