"We and other guests had trouble with the keys not working. There's not a worse feeling than getting to your room and not being able to get in after being on the road all day."

"Laurie was very helpful and nice at check in then providing me more wash, shampoo and conditioner bottles. Ty! Another staff member was not so nice- I got locked out of my room while doing laundry. (The key did not work.) Went to front desk- thought it was funny- (why?) Then I asked to charge my account for 3 quarters ( .75) to finish drying. Response-No we don't do that. I had to go back up to the 3rd floor with the new key, get $1 bill, bring it back down to the front desk to get the 3 quarters then back up to the 3rd floor to feed the dryer. (I paid $352.05 per night because I attended the KU graduation. Super expensive- total price gouge.)"

"Hotel replaced clean towels and removed trash in the room only, never remade our beds, the mattress I was sleeping on had a huge blood strain. Air conditioner in the room wasn't working correctly. The staff manager was very friendly and helpful when I had to reschedule our stay. Unfortunately the complimentary breakfast wasn't good at all. Waffle maker wasn't working correctly, ran out of milk for cereal and the apple juice wasn't cold. Next time I will pay the extra money for a more expensive hotel."

"I chose this based on the excellent rating. While this hotel was clean, our room was Okay, but needs some better updating. We found the room we booked was clean but smelled of mildew. The bathroom had sloppily applied grout around the tub and under the and had tiles that were stained and cracked. Beds were clean and pillows plentiful! Breakfast was just okay. Flavorless pancakes, hard biscuits, eggs that were overcooked and bad coffee. I honestly don’t know how this got rated so high. It was inexpensive compared to other hotels but certainly not staying here again."
