We have stayed at Monte Mulini Rovinj between 12 and 19th of July. Hotel was very well located, garden was very beatufil with trees and well maintained situation. Food was quite good. Personel was very helpful and very positive. The only thing to me needs to be improved is: Beach seating system. Most of the people are either putting their towel on the seats by themselves or through others in the very early morning even withoput having a breakfast and kind of invading the place for several hours without coming! To me this neither fair nor ethical needs to be managed with more ethical rulles. Yusuf Yormazoğlu

On arrival, the views of the bay from the reception area were breathtaking. The staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was nothing like we had experienced before. There was a huge selection at the buffet plus you could order from a menu where everything was freshly cooked to order. This included everything from minute steak and vegetarian options to sweet pancakes and waffles, you could even enjoy a glass of champagne! Breakfast was served until 12pm so plenty of time to work up an appetite. Our room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. There were luxury products replenished daily and everything you could think of was available. We had a deluxe room which was on the upper floor with beautiful views over the bay. There was a supplement for this but worth every penny! The hotel is outstanding! From arrival to departure, overall the hotel exceeded our expectations.

Generally we do not return to the same hotel or resort - there is a whole world to chose from. But we are so impressed with Monte Mulini that we have now stayed on 4 occasions. The hotel and resort just tick all the boxes. An Adults only hotel, in a beautiful location, within a 20 minute (slow stroll) into a pretty town which has stunning sunsets and plenty of wonderful places to eat. The town has a lovely relaxed atmosphere - plenty of cobbled steps and streets (could be a challenge if you are not steady on your feet). The staff at Monti Mulini are amazing and will do their best to make your stay a happy one. Bojana and the pool bar staff kept our drinks flowing whilst we were lounging in the sun; Sandra greeted us in the morning and made us feel so welcome. Not one member of staff - from reception, the wellness centre, the lobby bar, the restaurant, the housekeeping - didn't have a smile. You get the impression that Maistra treat their employees as well as they do their guests and that makes for a wonderful atmosphere. Will we be going back - absolutely. Would we recommend - 100%.

What an incredibly beautiful property with first class service at all levels from check in, concierge, restaurant, spa/gym. Our room was beautiful, sumptuous and VERY quiet. The resort is stunning and the staff universally friendly and helpful. Rooms and are comfortable with ample storage. We loved the generous noon breakfast cut-off, the bike rental policy (same bike for your whole stay), and the fair two-hour limit on reserving pool/beach chairs. Our anniversary was recognized with a bespoke gluten-free cake and sparkling wine — a lovely surprise. Special thanks to the wonderfully patient Nino (bikes) and the whole breakfast team — especially Sasha (best waiter ever), Sandra, Bobanna, and Karmen, ALL of them exceedingly competent, service-oriented, and friendly. And Radojka: when my celiac Adam was accidentally served gluten pancakes, she owned the error honestly, apologized repeatedly (even though we acknowledged our responsibility in not reminding staff) and remade the batch past cutoff. Negatives: most critical - our flight from Mostar to Zagreb was cancelled, forcing a stressful, lengthy rerouting by bus from Mostar to Split, late flight to Zagreb, and expected arrival at MM at 1am on 7/23 rather than 6pm on 7/22. We desperately wanted to cancel the 1st night of our 4-night stay, rest and stay that night near Zagreb airport, so made the request to you. Management first agreed, then reneged on letting us delay check-in by 1 night, leaving Adam at 71, to drive hours through the dark night exhausted — an unethical reversal. A requested mattress topper never arrived despite 3 asks, and the key card panel malfunctioned (a minor issue).

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Monte Mulini for 5 nights and we absolutely loved it!! Everything from hotel accommodations to the staff exceeded our expectations. The location of the hotel was perfect. Walking distance to old town but far enough to be able to enjoy a beautiful beach. We were especially blown away by the complimentary workshop facilitated by Daniel Skoblar on the Wim Hof method followed by a 3 minute ice bath!! Luca and Chiara (owners of Salt) were incredible people who offered top fashion in their pop up shop within the hotel. Lastly, the complimentary ceramic experience facilitated by Luka was simply lovely!! Overall, a phenomenal experience we would highly recommend!

Lovely hotel in great location. Rooms were a good size with very comfortable beds and good blackout curtains. Very quiet room and we slept so well the whole time we were in the hotel. Breakfast was great and we appreciated that it was served until midday, so there was no rush in the morning. Loved the location - a beautiful 15-20 minute walk into Rovinj, with loads of fantastic places to eat along the way. I think the hotel should have more sun loungers. We were told to reserve ours by putting towels down. I hate doing this, and think hotels should have adequate areas to sunbathe around the pool. That's my only niggle.

Amazing hotel

We come to this hotel for the 3rd year in a row and we are sure that this is not the last time. Once again the hotel met all our expectations. We were very pleased that we were given a free upgrade to a higher category room on the 2nd floor with stunning sea views. I can't find the right words to describe the pleasure when you go out on the balcony with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and you have a view of all this beauty. The entire staff, as always, tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast has not changed, but everyone can find something that suits them. The location of the hotel is excellent. 20 minutes and you are in stunning Rovinj, and it itself is located in the park. Pine trees and the magnificent sea - what else could you dream of on vacation? We will definitely return

Would 100% recommend. Everything you would expect from a 5* hotel - the hotel looked brand new everywhere! Beautiful rooms, immaculate grounds, generous breakfast with à la carte choices cooked to your order. What blew us away was the attention to details and every single member of staff making you feel like you were the only guests. Without asking, we received a surprise one evening in our room of an exquisite cake and champagne to celebrate our anniversary - what a thoughtful touch. My husband also accidentally knocked his iced coffee over by the pool and within minutes they had replaced it without asking. Considering our stay was in peak August season, there were always sunbeds to choose around the pool and I witnessed the pool staff going above and beyond ensuring guests every need was catered for. Cannot thank enough every single member of staff for a truly memorable visit in an amazing location.
