The gentleman whom helped us and ran the hotel was delightful. He was informative and helpful with our parking. Reminded us there's too many stairs for heavy luggage. There fore we just brought up the necessities. Highly recommend. The basement was very awesome as well.

Great location for this hotel - and Bruges was such a great place to visit. The hotel is right by the main town square, with lots of things going on, and markets to visit. The room and ensuite were lovely, and would definitely recommend staying here. The staff were really helpful and we enjoyed our stay here. The only downside was the gym - which wasn't really fully equipped, and smelt of drains, so I didn't use it.

What an amazing little fairytale hotel!! Quaint rooms, lovely breakfast and such a touch of old Europe. I am so happy! Met the ‘manager’. 89 year old father of the owner. It’s his mission to make your stay all it should be. There was no AC, but an open window and 2 fans made it comfortable. Right on the edge of old town, walkable to everything. I highly recommend if you’re looking for special and without a modern twist.

Fabulous 2 night stay at the Burg Hotel. We had room# 9 on the 1st floor (2nd floor to us Americans). Beautiful views of the town walls, the Bailiff Tower, and Convent Garden. Mr. Otto was a delightful host, as was his daughter. Old World Charm, immaculately clean, wonderful breakfast, large room with comfortable bed. Peaceful and quiet! Far enough away from the crowds of tourists but close enough to walk to all. Parking available which was a plus. We parked the car and didn't move it until we departed. This was a highlight of our 2 week trip across Bavaria.

Located in very quite part of town with easy access (walking) to excellent restaurants and historical part of town. Great breakfast overlooking the beautiful landscape. On-site garage parking was a great option that is not well advertised. Overall Awesome!

Beautiful hotel with excellent location. However, the website needs to clarify there is no elevator. There are four stories. Older or handicap will not be able to manage. The hotel has nobody to help. There are two rooms on first floor but you will not know to book them because the website does not not make this clear.
