"We had a king size bed room. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the room had everything that we needed. The cons were: the bathroom is very small, there was a clump of hair in the tub drain. Other than that the room was nice. The continental breakfast bar in the morning was very crowded the 2 days we stayed, other guests were greedy with the food so we only went one time and went to breakfast elsewhere after that. The pool was nice, it’s heated. I loved it. "
"Loved the location (very close to the channel which empties into Lake Michigan). There is mile long sidewalk that leads to the beach and historic pier on the Lake.
The facility itself has a long comfortable screened in porch which is great for breakfast. Location is a few blocks from shopping and restaurants. This is a well kept property which we may use again."
"We stayed in the "Upper Deck" suite and it was perfect for us. We loved having our coffee on the balcony with the view of the water. It was clean, comfortable, and an easy walk to the beach or main strip of town. Excellent coffee and plenty of restaurants and shops are a very short walk away while the site is peaceful and feels removed from the tourist area. "Lovely Inn with very comfortable accommodations. Shelley is the “hostess with the mostest”! She makes wonderful breakfasts and the best chocolate chip cookies. And she makes you feel at home. I would highly recommend Boyden House."
"Check in was easy and service was friendly and helpful. Clean hotel with great breakfast and the LOCATION is perfect. Close to everything you will need. Only 15 mins to Michigan Adventure and to Grand Haven. Will definitely be staying next year for longer. Only negative was no hot tub but the rest of hotel made up for it. "
"I liked that the property smelled better than most properties that are at this price range. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
What I didn't care about this property was that the area was dirty outside of the property, it felt extremely unsafe outside and there was not much that a single woman could do to make herself feel safer other than stay in her room. "
