The historic estate is in impeccable condition. The friendly, professional staff and the beautifully appointed facility both get five stars. Our room was perfect for our taste, the view of the lake was really wonderful. The gardens are filled with well maintained vegetables and perennials and the outer grounds are walkable. The only drawbacks were 1) The 17 CHF taxi ride from the train station could have been saved if they had a golf cart like so many five star hotels have. It would have been a 15 min walk in the rain 2) And we paid 215 CHF extra for exclusive spa time before our prix meal. They didn't heat the mega bath/jacuzzi. And it isn't a real spa, just a sauna in a beautiful, relaxing space with so much potential. No steam room, nor cold plunge. No medicinal salt scrub. No slippers. One smaller pool that could have been the cold plunge wasn't even filled with water. The charming, professional staff were so hospitable we didn't have the heart to complain. We would definitely return, just remind them to heat that amazing jacuzzi.

Hotel storico ma ben tenuto ed accogliente. Parcheggio ampio anche per chi come me viaggiava con furgoncino. Zona molto tranquilla a 5 minuti a piedi dal lago. Très bon séjour

Voyage d'affaires. Très bon accueil. Hôtel très confortable dans chambre avec vue sur le lac de Constance. Je n'hésiterai pas à retourner dans cet hôtel.
