Nice location at the harbor

Good location by the harbor with views from several rooms. It would be nice if the hotel invested in a bathing jetty, so guests wouldn’t have to wade through large amounts of seaweed to get into the water. The hotel itself is a typical conference center. The rooms are extremely small and really intended for one person. Cleaning was reasonable, although there were many cobwebs on the ceiling and walls. Service in the restaurant was excellent. The reception – when staffed – was somewhat distant and indifferent.

Nice visit

Lovely hotel, great staff. Comfortable bed. Dinner is just one fixed menu bookable in advance which was of very good quality if you happen to like what it is on the day. If you visit, its best to research the history of the area as we did not and missed some nice potential visits

The hotel is pleasant and pretty comfortable. The bed started out comfortable, but was hurting my back before the night was over. The quality of the food in the restaurant was excellent, but there was very little to choose from for dinner. In fact, they only have one dinner option, which was duck while I was there. I knew this ahead of time, but was afraid I could not find another restaurant since this is an extremely small town, and there wasn’t much open at this time of year. I enjoyed the appetizer and side items but I don’t like duck. It was pretty pricey in my opinion. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The hotel is very conveniently located to begin the walk on Stevns Klimt trail.

Ridiculous and inexcusable check-in hours!

Check in is only between 3-5pm so we had no place to sleep!!! Nobody answered the phone and it was locked up. We contacted the property many times. We slept in our car. This place is horrible!

Only for the see view

Very disappointed with the superior sea view room Small, uncomfortable room with damaged furniture. No bedside table because the room is too small. Cleanliness was not up to standard, with many spiders. The bathroom needs a complete renovation. The only positive point: the sea view and the beach, just a few meters to the right of the hotel.

We were informed very late that we couldn't access rooms until 1 hour after standard time. When given access we found one room not cleaned. When informing staff we only got options: wait for "someone" to clean room or take another room, without sea view. We asked them to clean the room. When "done", we still found bins not emptied and no towels. Asked for new towels and were promised them. Finally had to go down for them myself. Porter nice enough but hotel totally understaffed. We were "compensated" with four free gin tonics. I think a total refund of the uncleaned room would have been ok.
