WELL KEPT OLDER HOTEL

Well kept older hotel. Owner/Operator is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are average. Floors need to be mopped. Dust accumulating under beds. Pillows need to be changed. My head itched all night from dust mites in the pillows. Not many hotels available near Lancaster, SC but this one is decent and better value for the money.

Great value

Been staying Tuesday to Saturday for 4 weeks while opening our new location or Palmetto Trailer World in Rock Hill. The staff is wonderful. It is an exceptional value.

If you are looking for posh accommodations this place isn't for you. If you are looking for a quiet place with clean room and linens at a reasonable price then this is the place. Enjoyed our stay.

A days stay

We stay here pretty regular. It clean and in good shape for what you pay for! The breakfast is skippy but odes have waffle maker. We stayed at every place in Richburg multiple times and some of the other hotels aren’t any better but charge more!

Comfortable stay

It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate with juice, coffee/tea, 2 types of cereal, toast, muffins, and waffles. The clerk upon check-in was pleasant but the one in the morning was just there. Did not say anything when we went in for breakfast or upon turning in the key and thanking him.

The person that checked me in (I did not get her name) was the same person at breakfast and who also checked me out, was a very nice kind caring friendly happy person with lots of joy. This was a very nice hotel to stay at. And the frig worked very well including the freezer. Impressive!! The beds were comfy. Floors were nice and clean. Had a bathtub which is always nice to have. Beautiful picture of a pier spanning the wall above the beds. Nice big wooden dresser. Nice continental breakfast. Very good decaf coffee. Tissues. Very good price. Oh and a really nice comfy chair to sit on with a hassock. Thank you for being there last minute with affordable pricing.

Good hotel

My hotel was great got there and hotels.com didn't send over my reservation so the owner of the hotel had to call hotels.com to get confirmation of my stay and I booked it at 2pm in the afternoon and got to the hotel at 930pm so they had plenty of time to send my reservation.the staff there was very friendly and helpful thank you for the great stay

Avoid

Initially we were given a room that smelled of smoke, was dirty, and had an absolutely filthy sofa. It was located at the back of the property and appeared to be next to people who were living there as residents (smoking joints on the stairs outside of our room, van parked outside that someone was living in, garbage all over the ground) When I mentioned at the front desk that the room was in a sketchy area, we were offered a different room, closer to the front office. It was a cleaner, the smoke smell wasn't as strong, but still noticable. The door didn't fully close, so we had to put the chair in front of it. Since the rooms weren't call that clean, we didn't trust breakfast. The whole place needs an overhaul.

Dont stay there. Room was some what clean. My husband went to office for hair dryer the next morning and they didn't have any. I went back to front office for a 2nd cup of coffee and there wasn't any made. I would never stay there again.

The room was clean but not very well kept. The paint was pealing on the ceiling in the bathroom and bedroom. The hair dryer was so messed up that when I tried to use it, it just broke all apart. The trim along the floors were very old and not properly fitted any longer. The doors to the rooms were outside, not on an indoor corridor like most of hotels are now. The room was pretty big and so was the bed. The bed was very comfortable and a good night’s sleep.
