The Motel was in a great location. It was very near the grocery store. The room was clean and well maintained. The view of the morning sunrise over the lake was amazing. We contacted the office by phone as instructed but when we arrived at the motel around 3:00 PM in the afternoon we still had not recieved the number for the box to get our key to the room. Luckily the cleaning staff were still onsite and they were able to help us gain access to the key to our room. Suggestion: perhaps it would be better to have someone onsite to assist those staying at the motel.

The motel was generally clean and rooms were spacious. Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow, there is a laundry room as well. Bed was ok and most rooms have backdoors that open to a nice open grass patch for morning exercise with a view of the lake.

We love staying at the Lakeside, their location is fantastic easy walking distance to everything from the main street to Robetown brewery & Sky seafood, the staff are always lovely and accomodating and their dog friendly rooms are the best, highly recommend
