R&b is always great the location is great for me and reasonable price..rooms are small but clean & there is no window view but the air conditioner works well.. near Ueno and Alihabara and close to several trains this place works for me!

Overall this is a decent budget hotel…if you have considerate neighbours. I unfortunately did not. Room walls are extremely thin and if your neighbour is slamming around then you’ll hear everything. People were also gathering in the hallway to talk very late and you can hear every word. My bathroom sink smelled of rotten eggs sometimes. The room itself was nice and functional, well thought out. Unfortunately I wouldn’t return due to the noise issues. Staff at reception were lovely, always greeting me each morning and evening.

I wish they should serve other kinds of free drinks other than coffee! My desk has a weird setup where the plugs were at the sides instead on the top of the desk. Not enough electrical outlets or usb-c connections.
