What a gem!!
Our stay at La Montagne last weekend was absolutely awesome! Darrah gave us such a warm welcome and made sure we knew how to get into our rooms because we would be away for the day. She even arranged utensils when we last minute decided to braai for the evening! Excellent service and pristine premises!

Clean and quiet, the only think I did not like was the toilet that is in the bedroom with no door. the shower is also in the bedroom, but that is ok, I just like privacy on the loo.

Great option for Riebeeck Kasteel
Great little room, nicely appointed. Could hear people in room next door although wasn’t too much of a problem. Very central. Close to restaurants and craft shops and supermarket. Good fridge, no TV tho. Toilet and shower open plan in room, so better for solo travellers. Well priced.

Nice, but not ideal
Nice guest house, great little town with lovely restaurants and little shops to potter around. I'd previously stayed here in the honeymoon suite, I booked it again as I really liked the deep bath and the lovely room, however on arrival there was no one to greet us, the key to the room was hidden and I was told where to find it, unfortunately some other guests had taken our keys and the room we'd booked, so we were left with the room they had booked. Not ideal as I had specifically booked the honeymoon suite.
