If you bring a dog and take it walking, beware that there are some big menacing dogs behind some inadequate fencing in the area (not talking about the ones right across the street).We stayed in an upstairs unit. "Just staying for a night in the main lodge as this was an economical choice during VT move in week. It provided the basic necessities and was pleasant for what it was and the price point. The overwhelming theme of the past did not personally deliver in the current state presented. While quaint and charming, we didn’t get much more than something to check off our list. While staff in general were polite, beyond the registration staff, didn’t really get the welcoming touch from other staff, and especially grounds staff. When pulling up to such an iconic place, one would think the grand old entrance/one way entry would not be semi-blocked by a beat down and half rusted truck. The lack of structure and control in this and some basic external maintenance makes me wonder if management really sees what their patrons see."

"Very clean, nicely designed, well maintained property. Amazing staff, super friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with pancakes, serial, oatmeal, yogurt, fruits, omlet, sausages, and more. Lavazza coffee available all day long. Pool table in lobby as well as table games. Snack bar available all day long. Nicely designed rooms. Pet friendly hotel. Truly felt like home. Would go to Princeton again just to stay at that hotel."

"Room was cute and clean. AC worked really well, and there was a fridge and a microwave in the room. I was in the area for an OCR so all I really needed was a bed and a shower. The tub had a nice shower head and both the water pressure and temperature were consistent. Bonus-there was a Dairy Queen next door and the dining area had a beautiful riverside view!"
