Good hotel just outside yalisos. Nice building with a minimal aesthetic. Great courtesy and service, good breakfast. Nice pool garden. Anyway the rooms are big but outdated in style. Room cleaning way below average (the floor was never vacuum cleaned even when I got into the hotel - there were hair of every color and type that remained for my whole week but I didn't care too much because I was out every day). Daily room service but floor cleaning was also done with a dirty mop that left a bad smell in the room for hours. I also think the bathroom surfaces especially tiles were left uncleaned. Cannot smell any kind of detergent. Prefer the rooms toward the pool because the road side is noisy due to very nasty scooters with open mufflers speeding also at night but not too often.

Hôtel familial très propre et bien entretenu. Climatisation très efficace et discrète. Petit déjeuner copieux, varié et avec pas mal de choix, dont des spécialités locales. Personnel très sympathique et direction arrangeante. Il semblait y avoir une erreur dans notre réservation et nous n'avons rien payé de plus, merci encore pour cela. Localisation top, au calme, sans bruit de route ou d'avion, mais suffisamment proche des restaurants à pied. Circulation facile pour rayonner dans l'île.

They made us feel very welcome and it felt like a real good family owned hotel. The pool was a good size and it was great to see people enjoying the pool without towels being thrown over sunloungers and not being used. Its a little walk to the main town and beach but there is a really good restaurant near the football ground which is about a ten minute walk away.

Alt for mange lokale personer. Den ene dag var der over 35 lokale personer. De dage, de lokale ikke var der, var vi imellem 10-20. Så 35 oveni er for vildt... Bar priserne er skyhøje..... medmindre man syntes 3.5 euro for 0.33 flaske mythos er billigt og 3 euro for en dåse cola. restaurant der lå lidt længere ned af vejen tager 1.8 euro barw lige for at sætte det I perpektiv.

Great location for us as we hired a car. There's a couple of restaurants and small shops local in walking distance and the hotel is on a quiet road. I would say this is a very good budget hotel, nice staff.

Hotel in quiet location.

Family run hotel, on a quiet road in Ialyssos, the staff are very accommodating and friendly. A lovely 15 min walk into the centre of Ialyssos through the village passing little cafe's and local shops on the way. 30 min walk to the beach and buses to Rhodes Town run regularly from the main road.

Close to the airport, ok stay

I checked in after their opening hours. They left me the keys in the reception so I didn´t have any problem. Internet connection only in the reception, and it worked fine. Room, swimming pool and breakfast quite ok.

Sjabbigt och dåligt städat

Ett ganska sjabbigt hotell utan fläkt eller luftkonditionering i lobbyn/ allmänna utrymmen. Rummet vi fick (min kille och jag) var dåligt städat och ovälkomnande. Personalen där var trevliga till att börja med, men ju längre tiden gick ju mindre pratade de med en. De hade höga och intensiva diskussioner mitt i det allmänna utrymmet så att alla fick höra. Vet inte vad de sa men tycker inte de behövde ta det just där. Hade inte åkt tillbaka dit eller rekommenderat dem till nån jag känner. Finns bättre och trevligare ställen att bo på. Känns som om få av de som jobbar där tyckte om sitt jobb och vill göra gästernas upplevelse speciell.

Simply Santa Helena, Boutique Hotel

The Santa Helena is a wonderful oasis of calm. If you do like a relaxing holiday but do need food and drink the Santa Helena has a fully stocked bar and a nice little menu. It also has wonderful outside lounging areas both poolside and front of hotel. ROOM- We were given a ground floor room just off the pool area and facing the road and open countryside.The room was very big and simple style but we liked it because of this and it was actually quite cool even though the air conditioning (included in the price) worked beautifully when we tried it. The beds were clean and comfortable and bed linen and towels were changed every day which was most welcome.There is a fridge, sink and kettle all of which worked just fine. All balconies are generous in size. It should be noted that all road / countryside facing rooms will probably be a lot cooler than pool facing rooms as they face almost directly West. Bathroom is standard size and basic but this didn't bother us as there was good hot water for a thorough clean and fresh towels every day. Poolside - The pool is well maintained and clean.BREAKFAST - ours was included in the price and was simple and tasty.
