"We arrived and needed to upgrade our room to private - no problem. The staff was more than helpful. We needed to do laundry - again the staff bent over backwards to get our laundry started and, while we were gone returning our car at the airport, the wonder staff person, a woman, at the front desk moved our laundry to the dryer and then, above and beyond all requirements, folded our laundry. She was soooo helpful to us. We had a great stay. Good breakfast. The gentleman on the front desk in the morning when we came down to wait for the cab help educate me on Iceland; it's geography, history, role in WWII.... all kinds of interesting facts and details. Couldn't have had a better experience on our last day Iceland."

"Everything about the Silica far exceeded our expectations. The scenic walking paths through the lava fields and springs were astonishing. Their hot springs pool was so relaxing, the sitting areas, the food and amenities were far above 5 stars. We have never met a staff that were so helpful, friendly, courteous and just genuinely nice people. They made you feel welcome, at home and special! We wish our stay could have been longer and recommend the Silica to everyone."
