Great boutique stay in Rethymnon

Lovely boutique hotel right in the middle of the old town. Beautiful room with fantastic facilities. Small kitchen, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, wine, raki, water, fruit, toast & jams. Modern TV with Netflix etc. Shower and toiletries were brilliant. Couldn’t fault it. I would highly recommend.

This hotel is on the edge of old-town by the water. It is almost a perfect location. We'd stay there again. We had a rental car, so parking was important to us, so let me say word there. The Expedia listing said there was parking, but that didn't mean the hotel provided parking. It only meant there was parking available from someone else in the area. There was a paid lot right across that street that had slots available even when the area was the most crowded. The cost was about 20 Euros per day. There is free parking available if you can grab a spot early in the morning. Bottom line: don't sweat the parking as long as you're willing to pay. Breakfast was 15 Euros and I didn't think it was worth it, but there were lots of places to eat within easy walking.

Die Unterkunft war sehr komfortabel und großzügig geschnitten – viel Platz und hohe Decken sorgten für ein angenehmes Wohngefühl. Trotz Fenster nur an der vorderen Front war es überraschend hell. Die tägliche Reinigung und das bereitgestellte Wasser im Zimmer waren ein schöner Service. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle Lage nahe der Altstadt – zentral und dennoch ruhig. Die Gastgeberin war ausgesprochen freundlich und hat uns sogar mit einem kleinen Gastgeschenk überrascht. Restaurants gibt es in der Umgebung reichlich, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Parken war etwas tricky, aber ein kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz ist in der Nähe vorhanden. Frühstück wurde angeboten, gegen Saisonende jedoch nicht mehr – Alternativen gibt es aber genug in der Umgebung. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit Wohlfühlfaktor!
