This was a nice hotel/pub to stay in. Very close to lots of amenities and a lovely park just across the road. One I will gladly use again if back in the area.

Staff were friendly who we saw.
Very limited parking even street parking is limited due to permits needed.
No breakfast even though it stated breakfast.
Rooms could do with an update.
Bar area is nice to have a drink and can imagine in the summer would be a great place

Hotel was ok. Comfortable bed. Expedia messed up my room so I didn’t get the room I booked.
Liked the friendly and accomadating staff. Lovely room but would book downstairs next time due to disability and age. Interesting history about being old police station. Very good as near local shops and a beautiful park. Very convenient near theatre. Had a lovely weekend. Will definitely come again.

Nice, but told there was no breakfast.
It's a nice little hotel above a pub. Room is very clean comfortable, nice tv you can log into streaming services with. A few issues: Small issue is a few draws and things in the room were broken or stuck. Also the signage above the entrance is for 'Old Police Station' which is the pub, its not very clear that this is the hotel roo. Bigger issue is they told me on arrival there was no breakfast in the morning. Was giving no refund compensation, or no alternative, just 'sorry there is no breakfast'

You get what you pay for!
Stayed over for a party a few miles away . No taxis around at all!!
Room small but cosy. Bed comfy and bedding smelt fresh and clean.
Could do with a deep clean. Stains on carpets, mould in shower, cowbeds on lamps and walls.
Continental Breakfast you help yourself to. Very minimal and cheap goods.
Ok for a one night stay and close to town.
The hotel use to be a police station,so the building has lots of character. It is lacking in chef so the breakfast was limited however adequate. The room was nice and the bed was comfy even if outdated.
This property is now below standards! Everything inside is broken or not working properly, there's noone to clean the room, bring clean towels or fill up the teas and coffees, above all its dirty everywhere! I was shocked beyond measure coz I wasn't expecting this at all I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there at all!!

The place is lovely and we have been before a couple of years ago. But its under new management and its not as good as used to be. the hot breakfast is a joke when its not a English breakfast it was baked beans hash browns and muchrooms. And they charge you for it even though you book the room with free breakfast. When we got the room there was 1 towel for 3 of us just not good enough.
