Charming, centuries old country pub with not a straight beam in the place. Our room was large, characterful, spotless and comfortable. Decent pub grub delivered with especially warm and friendly service.

Peace, pigs, no tv,, friendly hosts, cakes, fresh eggs, park beside accommodation, cards and games in cupboard, warm . cosy, What more could you ask for.

I've stayed here approx 6 or 7 times over the last year, its always a 5 star experience. Its a beautiful place set back from a road (not a busy road). Its always exceptionally clean and tidy. Staff are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast is fantastic, always hot. I always try and stay here when I'm up visiting family and hope to stay again in Feb 2024.

The staff at the hotel were brilliant and welcoming, room was good, and the food at the restaurant is of very good standard. Had breakfast included as well which was really good

Was disappointed that the room was in the courtyard and not part of the main building, but it was convenient as it was near the car park and easy to access with our cases etc. We had a superior room which had a king size bed, fridge with fresh milk and bottled water. Handy for your own drink (wine etc.). The carpet and paintwork was not very clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.

Beautifully refurbished rooms, very friendly staff, and great food. Some noise from the bar/garden - as you would expect from an Inn - but very quiet after closing time, with a very comfy bed. Great value.

This was the perfect place to stay for a special event at nearby Wymondham College. I was warmly (well, it was during the heatwave!) and cheerfully greeted by Tracey. My room was clean, well-prepared and provided me with all the facilities I required. It was extremely competitively priced. My thanks to the staff concerned for their part in a really memorable weekend.

A very quiet hotel, albeit next to a busy main road, the room we had was motel style. A very warm and welcoming room with the bathroom having the free shampoos etc , not found in many hotels these days. After a very long day and a long drive, we tested the bar out, ok, its not cheap, but it IS a hotel, bar staff were very helpful, and made life very easy for us. My favourite East Anglian hotel - recently refurbished, just as friendly and welcoming. As usual there were all sorts here, it's a proper 'local' - good food, good beer, good cheer! Lots of interesting opinions - all topical issues covered and easily overheard. Really great helpful staff dealing brilliantly in difficult situations in COVID-19. Well organised e.g. breakfast and bar. Social distancing possible with only one family in lifts at a time,etc. Reception desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms fairly clean. Some dated looking bits e.g. carpet stains but fine for the price.
