The Red Bud is the cleanest and friendliest hotel I have stayed at on my trip from NJ to Missouri. I would recommend to anyone looking for an at home stay.

Just a clean, comfortable place with a friendly, helpful staff. Just a basic place, but one I will use again when in the area. Continental breakfast was set up at 6, which I really appreciated since I had an early departure.

Onsite staff member was prompt & responsive, even during my late night arrival & departure. There were security lights & cameras all around the lobby & exterior of the building. Parking was very close to the lobby entrance. All of this made me feel very safe. There were stocked vending machines in the lobby & free coffee available. The room has a good sized mini frig & microwave. The price for all of this was fantastic & I will use it again.

Family Christmas

This place is very dated. The room had minimal outlets. In fact, I had to move the dresser to unplug the microwave so I could charge my hearing aid batteries. There were no Kleenex and body lotion. The carpet was dingy and stained. Though it advertises a free continental breakfast, the first morning there was NONE. The second morning the continental breakfast was out; however, it is very minimal, with everything pre-packaged. Only small Styrofoam coffee cups with no lids, making it impossible to take a cup "for the road." My final complaint is the price of a room. I feel it is overpriced for what you get. The previous two nights we stayed at the Clayton Plaza in St. Louis, which has wonderful amenities, including a full, hot breakfast with an omelette and waffle station. Yet the Red Bud Country Inn was, unbelievably, MORE expensive. Since there are no other hotel/motel options in Red Bud, it appears to be a typical case of supply & demand.
