Highly enjoyed our stay at Arcadia. We stayed in Ta’i villa which was very spacious, neat and tidy. Loved the shared pool and bbq area. Neil was an exceptional host who is friendly and welcoming.

Our host Neil was absolutely fantastic. He is friendly and caring and made sure we had everything we needed. Even a welcome drink and fresh fruit on arrival. It was nice to stay in a clean, quiet, self-contained lovely villa house. The pool and BBQ area is clean and very relaxing. A very nice spot to spend a free day reading, sunbathing, swimming and just recharging. Cafes and restaurants are not far away and Neil recommended the best ones. When I go back to Raro, I will be calendaring it around availability of the Arcadia Retreat. It was absolutely perfect, hands down. Thank you, Neil. See you again soon.

Christmas on Raro

A little oasis in lush gardens, a lovely private pool area and all the amenities set up for a perfect laid back island holiday. Neil is a wonderful host and super helpful and friendly. We stayed in the upper level 2 bed apartments which is large, comfortable and perfect to chill on the huge balcony. Just perfect. Rarotonga is a beautiful island with loads of beach bars, restaurants and activities by day. A trip to Aitutaki is a MUST. See you next time Neil! Suze n Tracy

My adult son and I, have just returned to Auckland, after attending a family wedding in Rarotonga. We had the good fortune to stay at the Arcadia Retreat for a week. This has been the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. It was quiet, set in a beautiful tropical garden setting, close to the beach and some eateries. The accommodation was very clean and well set out. Neil, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Thanks Neil. Ingrid and Matt.

Absolutely wonderful

We have visited Rarotonga several times and have stayed in a variety of resorts, including several 5 star properties. I would have to say this easily tops any accomodion experience we’ve had. The villa was lovely and equipped with absolutely everything that you might need. The grounds and the pool are beautiful. Peter and Joelene know exactly how to find the balance between being amazingly hospitable while at the same time not being in any way intrusive. I would highly recommend this property.

A great place to stay. We'll be back for sure. Great to have such a spacious apartment and private verandah. I like to cook from time to time while on holiday so it was great to have such a well equipped kitchen. Owners and staff very helpful. Across the road from a great beach and walking distance to bars for sundown beer and food! Well kept gardens and very clean pool which we had to ourselves most of the time. Quiet and peaceful (apart from the compulsory roosters of course standard to Rarotonga!)
