Perfect base for wine tasting

We loved our stay. Lovely grounds and close to many wineries. We rented bikes from Mandy and, on the bike path and small roads near the Homestay, visited four local vineyards for tasting and lunch. Just a caution, these generally need to be prebooked. A wonderful stay overall

Near the wineries we wanted to visit, but quiet and pretty. It started to rain heavily, so we didn’t get to try the hot tub, but it looked like a perfect spot to relax.

Mandy is a great hostess. Welcoming and knowledgeable, she is a great source of information about wineries, restaurants and other local businesses. Antares is a little paradise surrounded by vineyards. Great B&B.

We loved our four night stay. Excellent host, great breakfast, hot tub, and poorl and located in the middle of the vineyards. Full kitchen is included. Bicycles available. The rooms are large airy and bright with views of the garden and mountains, flowers and vineyards. One of the best highlights of our trip to New Zealand

Great place to stay in Marlborough wine country

We had a fantastic stay here! Mandy and Patrick are the consummate hosts and took such good care of us. Mandy recommended restaurants and wineries to visit and even booked us a fantastic tasting at Hans Hertzog which is right across the street. We had a bedroom and bath and the use of a full kitchen and living area right next to it. Many prepared delicious breakfasts for us and all the best wineries are within biking distance. They have a pool that was very pretty but we were too busy touring around to use it. I heartily recommend Antares Home Stay.

Antares Homestay is a gem in the heart of the Marlborough wine country. The inn keeper Mandy is wonderful and focused on making guests feel like family. She greeted us and provided a tour of the property and amenities. We stayed in the blue room which was large and quiet. Options for either A/C or enjoying the breezes from the gardens and vineyards. The queen size bed was super comfy. Breakfast was freshly baked croissants, fruit, yoghurt, granola and eggs cooked to order if desired. The B&B had a small kitchen with appliances and fridge for some snacks that we had purchased. The gardens and ponds encourage exploring and walking with a glass of local wine. We also used bikes that were available to explore some of the nearby wineries. We plan to be back in New Zealand in the next year or so and will definitely stay here again! So many wineries to check out, but one that was fantastic and right across the street is Hans Herzog. Highly recommend booking a wine tasting there.

Blenheim stay near the river

Property was homely on a large piece of land that gave a calm feeling of getting away from it all. Beautiful views of vineyards and hills. We stayed in the loft apartment with 2 rooms, bathroom, lounge with deck and kitchenette. There were 2 rooms underneath us, yet they did not have guests staying at the time. The main house was far enough away for privacy - a pool and spa is alsoavailable for guest use. We were able to catch up on washing using laundry downstairs. Mandy looks after her guests well with some staple foods, fruit available (fresh peaches from the trees) and even made us beautiful homemade muffins for afternoon tea. The only hitch was the air conditioning unit was rather old and did not immediately work so we had a cool evening and morning, Patrick came to look at it and eventually it did work for the next day.
