Our room was large with plenty of cooking options it was great. The camp was very quiet. Our Unit was extremely hard to unlock as the lock is too close to the aluminium frame.

The staff were really friendly and the check in after hours was a breeze. Sadly the unit had very distinctive smell that was strong, I cannot say it was a warm welcome.

We stayed in a two bedroom unit for one night and it was a great option for us. It was roomy, had very comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. It was not "flash" but was clean and warm. Handy to be able to park right outside the door and only a short drive to town.

very clean cabin and friendly, helpful owner, plenty of utensils etc. in the kitchen and a carton of milk in fridge for tea and coffee. The feeling of the cabin is very traditional Kiwi, bathroom could do with a little updating but everything worked well to give us a good shower and was very clean. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Great value for money. Quiet, warm and tidy. Unfortunately the bathroom window was open on our arrival and some leaves and dust had blown in with the recent high winds, also noticed the smoke alarm has been taken down and had no battery in it.

This was really good value for money. The cabin was clean and well equipped. Not too far from Christchurch. The communal kitchen needs more utensils. No forks were available. Also no dishcloths to dry the washed dishes.

This was a quiet place to stay for the night which was great. I expected there to be linen on the beds already, but we’d brought sleeping bags with us just in case, and admittedly we did arrive early to collect our key before going to our event. We had to wait quite a while in reception as it wasn’t manned and no one came when we rang the bell, so we telephoned. When the manager arrived, he was rude about my costume I was wearing for the event. Not a great start.
