"This hotel is a fraud. I booked a room on July 12...showed up on the 27th, they took my Passport photo and personal info, then said they didn't have a room for me. Wouldn't give me a refund because they said they didn't receive any money. I was charged for the stay even though I didn't stay. It is a clever little scam they got going on at this hotel. They target foreigners. I filed a claim with my credit card agency and will report the fraud to Hotels.com."

"Great location on the river. Pu, who works at the front desk is the best. The rest of the staff are nice, but not very easy to communicate with.
The food is ok, but don't expect a large menu. If you stay here, be prepared to have your own transportation. Definitely rent a car or motorcycle.
The rooms are great for the price, and the pool is decent.
Hope you like cats, they are everywhere."
"The rooms are fine and the bathroom although 'ageing' was crucially kept clean, with hot water there for shaving!
The real downside is breakfast. Instant coffee, white toast and supposedly a cooked item to be ordered. On morning 1, I asked for pork fried rice (Khao pad moo). It came slowly and was lukewarm at best. Either it was reheated (ineffectually) or it was cooked then left to go cold before coming to me. Any little street stall in Thailand knows fried rice comes piping hot from the vendor's wok: it is not hard to get right."
"I and my daughter enjoyed our relaxing stay at U Duay Gan Garden Home. Staff was too kind and generous, helping us with everything we needed from hailing taxis to helping place vegan food orders. The owner Air was warm, friendly and so generous. I highly recommend staying here for a family feel."
"Property was as expected for the price and location. No frills, very helpful staff. Just a free and the best service you could ask for. Bathroom and shower has openings to the outside air so keep it from being too humid in the room. Not a bad idea at all."
