Enjoyed our stay.

It was very clean, and in a good location. Just a 13min walk from the old town and bus station, with cheap fare to the surrounding areas. A good option to save a few bucks when visiting lake bled. Radovljica is very cute and picturesque with lots of option for food and drink.

We had a lovely stay here and really enjoyed walking around the town. The main area was about a 10-15 minute walk. The room itself was comfortable and clean and felt super safe.

A good guesthouse – nothing fancy, but everything necessary was there. There aren’t many parking spots, but everyone managed to fit. The room was clean and spacious, with a fridge stocked with drinks and air conditioning. Self check-in was available upon arrival, which was very convenient. The breakfast was good and filling. There weren’t many tables, but since guests came at different times, there was enough space for everyone. We stayed for one night on our way to Croatia. The location of the guesthouse is also good – Lake Bled is quite close, especially convenient for those traveling by car.

This is a very pleasant place to stay. It is very comfortable and clean. The room smells very nice. Self check in was easy and convenient. Breakfast was delicious. I will stay here again if in the area.

This place was quiet and clean already from outside. Easy parking, nice neighborhood. The bath is a bit outdated, but we'll equipped and clean!!! The bed and pillows are comfortable. The lady at breakfast was kind and helpful. I enjoyed my time!

Highly Recommend

If you are visiting Lake Bled this is a great place to stay as you are only a 10 minute drive away . There is on site parking which is included . The breakfast area was cozy and had all the basics needed to start your day and was also included . There are several restaurants nearby to choose from for lunch or dinner . The area is super quiet and we enjoyed just sitting on our balcony taking it all in .There is no front desk at this hotel which I was a little leary about the automated check in process but it was very simple and worked great . Once you make your room payment and scan your travelling docs it will provide you with a lock code . I was very impressed with the self check in process . Bedroom and bathroom were spacious and superclean . We really enjoyed staying at the Penzion Kovac and would not hesitate to stay there again .

Nice place but problem with honoring our booking

We made reservation for 2 rooms few months ago. On the morning of the check in we got a message from the owner that because of overbooking error on his part he has to change one room from a regular double bed to a 5 beds room, in the basement with bathroom and shower outside the room, for the same price! No discount! We were very frustrated because we booked the rooms a very long time ago and the owner chose to not honor our booking! Other than that the stay was nice. We were able to have our laundry washed, breakfast was nice and the girl who served it was very gracious and personable.

Disappointing stay

Let's start with the only positive : location, about 15 minutes away from lake Bled in a quiet little pretty town. From that point on, went downhill for us. We were fully aware that we had made a basement booking, but the conditions we met were quite poor in general. And if you consider the price tag attached, I would dare say rather appalling. The room was very humid. You could both feel it and smell it. Probably made worse by the fact that all the "wellness facilities" (aka sauna) and shared bathrooms were also located in the basement, creating even more humidity. We washed one of our baby's overalls and it did not dry in 2 days !!Decoration was peculiar at best, with a tiger and a naked lady wall paintings! Breakfast buffet. This is usually an easy way to compensate, but not in this case. Selection was very poor, some items (cereal) felt dated and coffee vending machine needs an urgent upgrade to dispense drinkable coffee. Lack of healthy options was noticeable. Customer service was also not great, with check in fully automated and little presence in the property. I cannot stress enough that the value for money received was tragic. That said, the surrounding area is beautiful. Amazing scenery!

Penzion Kovac er et fint lille sted. Vi havde to overnatningerne der. Desværre lå det eneste 5 pers. Værelse i kælderen lige ved siden af spisesalen. Så vi vågnede hver morgen til lugten af stegte pølser og bacon. Havde det bare været ny bagt brød. Vi havde vores eget toilet, med det lå ude på gange så om morgen skulle vi forbi spisesalen hvor andre sad og nød deres morgenmad. Badet var et åbent område i forbindelse med en sauna. Alt var rent og pænt. Den elektroniske check-in gik nemt. Og afstanden til Bled samt indkøb er fornuftig.
