The location was beautiful and quiet and the room was comfortable. The service and food were superb. We opted for the 7 course taster menu and the waitress recommended perfect wine to complement the dishes. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed our stay.

This guest house is absolutely unique - it has an atmosphere of a hut in the woods, and it is actually in the woods. on the way, you pass by an ancient castle, which we loved to explore. At the guesthouse we received one of the best meals we ever had, so special and so well made! Finally, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the common dining room is quite interesting and very cozy. Although the guesthouse is off the beaten path, it is worth the drive, and it is actually only 20 minutes from the main touristic attraction in the area - Bled. Very highly recommended!

Beautiful mountain side getaway!

Great service by everyone. Very comfortable. Clean. Beautiful surroundings of mountain and mountain stream right in front of the property. You can hear the stream from your room. Food is fantastic. And chef Ales is great. Menu is great. Very relaxing and fresh mountain air. Hiking trail up the mountain begins right from the hotel.

Fantastic stay. Charming inn and restaurant in the woods alongside a running stream. Great service. We had to leave before breakfast started so the head waiter left a wonderful packed lunch for us at our door as a substitute. Great dinner at very reasonable prices as well. Authentic Slovenian place. Local people were celebrating a friend’s birthday the night we ate dinner. Lots of Slovenian songs and laughter. Very cool vibe.

The staff is amazing! From the moment we walked in until we walked out they were courteous and welcoming! Dinner was excellent and the breakfast buffet was incredible! I wish we could take them home with us! Our room was quaint and comfortable! We should have stayed longer!

Scary..

Super sweet and positive staff. If it wasn’t for them, this place would be in ruins. I have no idea what previous guests are referring to when it comes to anything else except the personnel. We left as quickly as we could.

The place was great. Very spacious, friendly staff and quiet as it is out in the woods. Very nice big breakfast. My only complaint was I made It to check in close to 9:30 and it was completely dark and no way to get in. I know it was off season but they said check in was closed at 8, but when I looked Back at my reservation it said 9:30. I probably Would have still missed it but I didnt know how small of a place it was and that it was a time slot. That was my bad but it got me a little frazzled because there was no cell service out there to call, I had To drive into the nearest town. But they were totally helpful.

Die Unterkunft ist eher urig als luxuriös. Man fährt gefühlt ewig durch Wald und entlang eines malerisch wilden Bergbachs. Das Haus entspricht den Bildern und liegt inmitten wilder Natur. Es gibt dort einen Parcour für Bogenschießen und wandern. Das Restaurant ist großartig und die Küche wirklich exellent. Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Zimmer ist unter dem Dach, relativ klein und man sollte nicht zu groß sein und sehr beweglich. Das Bett ist direkt auf dem Fußboden, hatte also keine Beine. Dadurch bekam das ganze eine sportliche Note. Hätte ich das gewußt, hätte ich es gelassen. Denn ich bin nicht besonders sportlich und relativ fortgeschrittenen Alters. Das Bad roch sehr nach künstlichen Duftstäbchen, die Einrichtung war einfach und entsprach den Bildern. Wir waren mit Hund da, der sehr freundlich aufgenommen wurde. Fazit: sehr gutes Essen,nettes Personal und alle sehr freundlich, beim Zimmer nur mäßig. Aber tolle Landschaft und ein tosender Bergbach vorm Fenster.

Heerlijk verblijf met zeer vriendelijk personeel

Prima verblijf gehad met het gezin. De kamers zijn schoon en ruim genoeg. Het ontbijt wat hierbij inbegrepen is, was heerlijk en uitgebreid. Zeer vriendelijk personeel is hier aanwezig. Vanaf de locatie is de meer van Bled en de Vintgar kloof goed te bereiken. Ik kan dit verblijf van harte aanbevelen voor mensen die in deze omgeving willen verblijven.
