Really lovely place! Clean and tidy and beautiful views. A really nice cafe available and a terrace where you can sit and enjoy the sun.
Appears to be a very Spanish speaking hostel to make people aware but had no problems here
Definitely recommend staying here. It did not feel like a hostel, more like a boutique hotel. The beds were comfy, friendly staff and a very nice terrace to hang out.
The staff and the common facilities were great with a great $3 breakfast. I had my laundry washed and dried in a few hours. There were a lot of cozy places to sit and work or warm up next to the fireplace. I was put off by the location, but it turned out to be great.
I have never experienced this convenient hostel with so beautiful terraces. That's why I stayed here again.
Rooms are wide and very clean. Staffs are so kind and friendly, especially Edison was very fluent in English and a wonderful barista, I could enjoy his delicious coffee and breakfast, whenever I want.
Each story has own terrace. There are a meeting room or a lounge with so many flowers on terrace with two small green houses. I could enjoy the view of wide and beautiful terrace like a garden which covered with flowers and green colors from my room. Guests take photos naturally on terrace with several hundreds of flowerpots. Sitting or walking on wide terrace itself gave me a feeling of vacation.
I could use the kitchen for guests on terrace. The space for terraces and other facilities are wider than that for rooms.
The center of old town such as the Independence Plaza could be arrived by 10 minutes of walking. There are many shops and restaurants around this hostel.
I have another plan to visit Quito, will stay here again with my family next year.
Good location, good service and good price. The owner is very generous in spacing the gardens and common areas. Staff is very helpful and responsive to our requests. Can’t thank them enough for giving us a comfortable stay.
This hostel is almost perfect, the private rooms have everything you need and are really quiet which is difficult to get in hostels. If the shower was consistently hot it would be perfect, the bed sheets were not clean when I arrived which was disappointing but I'm sure it's not normal as everything else was clean although the room wasn't cleaned for my second day either?
The best feature of the hostel is the terrace area, it's really big and green and you forget you are so close to the road and in the city at all. Really lovely on a sunny day. Definitely recommend it despite the little cleaning problems.
I needed a place near the markets for Ecuadorian goods and this was perfect. The room and bathroom are simple, but comfortable and clean. The personnel couldn't be nicer, from the couple who own the hotel to each employee I met. When I had to take a night taxi to the airport the man on duty stood with me at the door until I was safely in the taxi.
The terraza is lovely, overlooking Parque El Ejido, but the room I had was in back and thus free from the street noise.
The entrance to the hotel is on the second floor, so one must be able to schlep their bags up, but the guys on duty help get them back down. It is near restaurants that include everything from the Hilton to fast food - so it's easy to find what you want. The internet service is also great.
Anyone on a budget will be happy with this. If you want more luxury, go somewhere else.
Well located, fantastic staff and owners, bright clean hostel with comfortable rooms. It is near the bus stop and you can get to other parts of the city easily using public transit. Owners also has an airport shuttle service and can provide information about the city. You won’t be disappointed.
