We had a very pleasant stay at the Rendezvous Heritage Hotel. The buffet breakfast was good with a nice variety of options each morning. The amenities were well provided and made our stay comfortable. We also appreciated the connecting rooms, which were very convenient for our family with two kids under 5. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience with good service and facilities.

The property has beautiful views and is not a terrible walk to town. Just a steeper hike uphill when you walk back to the hotel from town. The bed was the best I have slept on while in New Zealand! Very comfortable.

The beds had several deep body impressions, those mattresses really should be swapped out for newer ones as they no longer offer much support. The breakfast had many great options and the food was good. Overall the facility was in great condition

Great buffet breakfast, amazing dinner and drinks. Staff super friendly and helpful. The pool is not suitable for colder weather. Staff member advised it’s heated but when the weather is cold the pool can’t heat itself. It was approx 12 degrees when we were there. Seems a waste of electricity heating it year round when it’s not really suitable. My partner had a cold plunge and was nice to get in the spa after it, but it also had its downfall when you had to get out of it and it was cold. Would stay again though, just wouldn’t book it for the pool in winter time.
