"I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

"We had a very nice stay at this hotel. There were some mixed experiences as we did not like the set dinner menu and the breakfast but were blown away by the lunch. We would recommend to not play music at the pool and change the black and white plastic cups to at least seethrough plastic glasses which would better fit the rest of the hotel experience."

We stayed in four hotels in zanzibar, the staff here are exceptional, very attentive and friendly. Hotel even supprised us with a free trip to the 'rock resaurant' and star fish beach! "Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf. "

"Ottima struttura per visitare e godersi la costa est di Zanzibar. Camere essenziali ma confortevoli, pulite e moderne. Staff super, Roberta e i colleghi ti fanno sentire davvero a casa. "Lovely small hotel with direct access to the beach. Very smiley, attentive staff. Comfortable rooms, though the shower was a little disappointing. We enjoyed our meals, especially the fish stew. Breakfast was good. Would definitely recommend this charming hotel, having really enjoyed the three nights we stayed there. My husband would thoroughly recommend the massage which he rated one of the best and reasonably priced too!"

"We had the best time at this resort! Every single staff member we met was absolutely amazing — so kind, welcoming, and always going out of their way to make sure we were happy. A huge shoutout to Ali, who took us snorkeling and on the dolphin cruise — such an incredible experience and he made it even better! Abba took such great care of us on the beach, always checking in and making sure our drinks were full and we were comfortable. Queen greeted us every morning and afternoon with the biggest smile — she truly brightened our days. And Steven was one of the best servers we’ve ever had — attentive, friendly, and just an all-around great person. Honestly, every single team member we came across made us feel so special. You can tell they all love what they do. We left feeling so grateful and can’t wait to come back again soon! "
