Hotel is located in a calm neighborhood few min from the ocean. My room was very cleaned and comfortable. Daily service was great and overall very satisfying. Breakfast was good, and the service wasmostly consistent. I highly recommend staying here.

This hotel is incredible. Beautifully designed pool and restaurant/bar area with beautiful lighting at night. Impeccably clean with incredibly attentive staff. Very close to the beach as well, which itself is very quiet. We had an absolutely amazing stay and I wish we could have stayed more days. Everything feels very luxury about the place... definitely stay here if you have the chance!

Exotico Beach Hotel is an incredible hidden gem on the southern shores of Costa Rica’s Caribbean Sea shores. The hotel is a perfect hidden getaway in the middle of the jungle, literally, where you will hear howler monkeys every morning, have an incredible opportunity to see Parrots, and all kinds of other wonderful wildlife. The food at this hotel is on point and the staff is very accommodating. 10/10 I highly recommend.

Would definitely stay again!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming, the food was tasty, and the beautiful beach behind the property was a wonderful bonus—it felt almost private. Waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys in the morning was a memorable experience. Just keep in mind that having a car is beneficial. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and peaceful getaway!

The pool and the facilities are really nice. I didn't much care for the breakfast or the room not having a dedicated bathroom with a door. That can make it uncomfortable for those who need some privacy. Staff is great and the bed is comfortable.

Best experience ever. Highly recommend!

This facility and its staff are amazing beyond description. We spent two glorious weeks and felt like family when we left. The dining options were great and the service excellent. The environment surrounding the property was filled with monkey's and birds. Short walk to the beach and the town of Manzanillo.

This has been on of our favorite hotels we have visited in Costa Rica. Absolutely beautiful, from the design to cleanliness.. in the middle of the woods, close to the beach, such a nature picturesque place. The service was also amazing as well as the breakfast that was included in the price. The only thing was that there was no hot water. This was a bit inconvenient but all in all an amazing stay!

We spent 5 days at this Wonderful Property! Everything from our reservation process, accommodations, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the chef, wonderful breakfasts, wildlife in abundance and close proximity to the beach made for a wonderful experience! Christopher was exceptional and Room 14 was Muy tranquilo! We definitely recommend the full day excursion of the National Park, Cocoa tour and waterfall hike, our guide pointed out crocodiles, vipers, sloths, monkeys, all types of frogs. Very fun day trip learning about the wildlife and the BriBri Tribe and their culture and history. Thank you Exotico and your team of staff and partners, we highly recommend. Jason and Janean

We spent a long time considering where to stay, from Cahuita to Manzanillo and are so pleased that we choose here. The hotel is stunning, the decor is beautifully and the staff are exceptional. The beach is a couple of minutes walk away & the breakfast was also delicious with plenty of choice & lots of fresh fruit. We had four nights here and could have very easily stayed longer. A special mention to the 2 receptionist, David & Josef, they were both so friendly and helpful. We had a car and spent the first day visiting Cahuita National Park, the 2nd day we walked along the beach from the hotel, to Manzanillo National Park, Manzanillo is about a 15 minute walk along the beach. On our 3rd day we walked from the hotel to Cockles beach, this was stunning and allowed us to see other locations, we stopped along the way for a few swims and drinks and caught a tuk tuk back to the hotel. Highly recommend

Stunning place, the hotel is boutique and impressive the beach is 5 mins away waliking from the hotel. The staff was great and kind and we love the hotel definitely we wll return to this great place.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff ready and willing to assist. No TVs, no noise. Great way to relax and enjoy the nature and all the sounds from the jungle. Beach is a short walk away. Uber was a good way to get around since we didn't have a rental car. We enjoyed the pool, and the patio in front of our room was a wonderful spot to enjoy our morning coffee.

This is an amazing boutique hotel. I would definitely come back to stay longer. I really loved how secluded the property is and how close it is in relationship to the national park. It’s also close but far enough from the hustle and bustle of nightlife in Puerto Viejo. The pool is fantastic and the rooms are wonderfully decorated and designed. All of the staff was really helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that likes the idea of being in the jungle with creature comforts of the city.

Magical place amongst the trees and only a very short wander to the beach. Monkeys swinging during the daytime and frogs only a quick search away at night. It’s a small hotel with most rooms looking out at the pool area. Relatively thin walls but we didn’t mind waking up early on this trip. 2 or 3 nights would perfect if visiting without a car as taxis need to come from Puerto Viejo for trips further afield. Almost faultless however our only criticism would be that dietary requirements actively requested by the hotel were not reflected at the restaurant/fore breakfast. We loved the shrimp tacos and the plantain tacos. They don’t shout about the beach at this property but they do allow you to visit their sister property Awa so that you can enjoy a day out at Punta Uva.
