"Saengcha resort is a family run resort and there is absolute personalised service from Munin, the owner and his brother! The breakfast is excellent and they will even cook excellent local meals on request.
Munin also runs an agar wood essential oil factory and a cocoa factory shott distance off premise. It was so interesting getting to know the process of making essential oil and chocolates respectively from Munin.

"Budget accommodation, but with all facilities that I needed. Spacious and clean room, strong Wifi and a very great cooling minifridge. During the night I stayed, there was a loud music playing in the field just right outside the resort. Perhaps a car audio competition because it was lots of base sound pounding all the time. Annoying! But luckily, it stopped just an hour and a half later. "
"I stayed at the most beautiful, elegant-looking hotel. The staff are very good, especially the Reception staff who were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast as well."
"Absolutely beautiful property set in very well maintained grounds with a lake view. Superb team from the front desk to houskeeping to food and beverage, big thanks to GM David for such a warm welcome."
"Good value, the room was clean and has a couch as well as a bed, and the fridge works well. The terrace next to the river was a pleasant place to sit with my food in the evening "

"The location is beautiful. The view from the room and breakfast is insane. I can only imagine how nice it must have been when it first opened. Now the state of it is lacking. Everywhere there is an undertone of unkemptness. The pool stairs are cracked, paint is peeling, the “gym equipment” is rotting, the chairs outside our room literally fell apart. Not confident that our room was thoroughly cleaned either. There were empty toiletry boxes from the last guess and their leftover snack remnants in the fridge. Staff was also just okay. I told them about the toiletry situation and they never addressed it. Overall it was hard to communicate with them, but that is also partly on me because I do not speak Thai. The breakfast food is extremely bland. There is also no way to lock your doors from the inside so your doors are unlocked when you are asleep. "
"This resort is pretty spartan. The rooms are basic and minimalistic. They provide tissues, but there is literally no toilet paper roll in the bathroom. The breakfast was provided in the morning on a covered plate, but could be cold if you wake up after they place it outside your room. There are great dining and shopping options very close to the hotel. There is literally a 7-11 next door to the hotel. Very convenient. If you are just looking for a place to rest for the night, it is a good place. "
"The garden and grounds are MAGNIFICENT! Very kids friendly. The pool is like a lazy river. There is. also a separate kids water play pool. The landscape and site planning architects should receive an award. Unfortunately public transportation or shared rides are not there if you don't drive or have your own private transportation. "
