"Stayed here in February. Check-in was quiet, staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was number 5 and was beautiful with modern equipment. It nice and warm in our room throughout our stay. No need to go out, just get parked and have your evening meal in the pub/restaurant, I can recommend the fish & chips. If you are looking for accommodation in this area, I would definitely recommend Pack Horse. "

"First of all booked a night away for valentines. Arrived to a rude male receptionist told us the spa was fully booked and could only use the next morning at 7am. We checked into the room which was so outdated. Radiator didn’t work so we was freezing, they did give us a portable heater. We then went down to the spa to have a look and asked if we could use it straight away said yes no problem. £15 each for evening use plus £10 each for robe and towel. Many other couples were turning up and booking...

"Pretty much spot on. Staff were great, food was a touch expensive, but I accept that as it’s a hotel. Was pretty good though. Now, only let down was the temperature of the room, BUT I knew there was no air con. It is made really clear on the website. Would recommend. "

"Room was OK (King Suite), neighboured with another room - unfortunately neighbours were far too loud. (We used ears plugs otherwise we'd need to change rooms. Lack of drinking water in the rooms. The room itself was a bit dim with worn furniture. Bathroom lacked ventilation and thus accrued mold on the blinds. Had several disturbances in the night with noise. Poor signal with a small outdated TV. Good large fluffy bath towels, comfortable bed. Nice view from the window. Good breakfast selection....
