Great hotel, walking distance from our daughter’s house, didn’t use the restaurant or bar but both looked nice and tidy. Any interactions with the staff were positive. You have to pay to park but for the 3 days we were there it cost £7.40 Will definitely stay again

Hotel staff were good. Hotel itself slightly shabby. Lift couldn’t stop on floor 2 going up but would on going down. Wood in corridors and rooms scratched. Breakfast hot food server was broken. Temporary rig set up in dining room. It was ok and convenient for the price.

The room was clean and comfortable, although the extractor in the bathroom was on constantly and quite noisy. The reception and breakfast team were very friendly. Tea and biscuits were replenished in my room daily whcih was nice. I did not eat there in the evening, choosing to walk for 8 minutes and go to a Greek restaurant on the high street that was very good.

As always in many hotels, the single rooms are small cramped and out of the way. However, it was very clean and tidy, but dated. The staff and service were great, and that I find is the best part of any hotel.
