"The property is tastefully decorated in great condition and extremely clean and tidy. We street parked during our stay with no issues with a parking pass from our amazing host Maxine. Our stay wouldn’t have been the same without her , went above and beyond to make our experience of Weymouth the best it could be starting the day with a delicious breakfast and the go too’s and must sees of what the area had to offer. Booking anywhere else would be a waste of money… this is the place it Stands...
"Fantastic location, our hosts were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the rooms comfortable and very clean. We’d probably choose a room without a sea view next time- the tractor that rakes the sand starts around 6.30am and the main road in front is noisy. Thoroughly recommend"
"The receptionist / bartender/ waitress (Sian) was really friendly and efficient, handling a large dining group, customers at the bar and a late check in, but still find time to have a chat as we bellied up to the bar for drinks. "
"Great find in Weymouth.Very clean modern room with a very comfortable bed.Very quiet no noise from other rooms.Very welcoming hosts.Loved the balcony great views,close to the train station and bus station.Great breakfast selection and really appreciated the use of the hotel parking permit! Would highly recommend!"
"Warm welcome by the host, explained everything you need to know. The bed was really comfortable, room was spacious and tidy, even had a fan which was welcome as the nights where in the 20s. Breakfast was gorgeous, cereals,full english or if you asked for anything similar they'd do it, the coffee was lovely, they also catered for the continental visitors. Spacious car park and a nice ten minute walk to the seaside. Overall i would recommend The George and would certainly visit again.

"A delightful B&B on the Esplanade in Weymouth. You will be greeted with the warmest welcome by Derek, the proprietor. Freshly cooked breakfasts and sometimes cake in the afternoons. The rooms are well appointed."

"Got a family room (5people) with sea view which was freshly renovated clean and spacious. Newly furnished, new comfy mattresses large winfow facing the sea. Bathroom freshly renovated and modern with shower cubicle. The pictures in the listing were taken before renovation and doesn't do the justice. I was impressed with the room. Parking at the back of the property tight but available. Pool table, darts and evening entertainment in the basement. Pleasant stay just staff running around and hard...

"The Old Ship Inn is the perfect place to stay during our trip to Dorchester and surrounding area. It’s a gorgeous Inn tucked into a very special old pub. Our room was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We will be coming back here for sure. "
