"The view from the hotel is spectacular. Inside the room and corridors the decor is dated and shabby. The bathroom taps were grubby with grime and difficult to turn. No bottled water in the room and next to no soundproofing between rooms, especially bathrooms. The fire doors in the corridor banged when shutting. "Bed was not comfy as we had backache after second night , we turned mattress round was ok that night but the after that . The step into the shower was too high and we had to buy a step to get in it and also the floor surface was very slippy . Both produced boiling hot water that would burn.All we were offered was the use of another shower in an outside building. We declined. "Clean and comfy. We stayed in a family room. Some discrepancies between what we booked on Expedia and what was sent through to the hotel, but was sorted by email and phone call in advance.
