Made this our home base while in the Algarve region for the week. Room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast included was plentiful. Although not direct access to the beach boardwalk, it was not too far of a walk. There is a mercado (grocery store) about 6min walk. Parking is tight beside the hotel and limited but desk staff assured us of directions to alternate places if needed.

Hard beds but amazing service!

Cute hotel with a nice view even tho the casino is right in front. Both breakfast and dinner included in my stay which was a nice surprise! And the cleaners left it super clean and nice daily - super är thankful! Beds weren't the softest but I barely slept so it's okay.

Good for the money

I hated their towels, the bath towels are very small, and as thin as a paper. Breakfast is whatever, but location is amazing, absolutely loved the location, smack in the middle of all hustle and bustle.

Above expectations

Having read other reviews, we were ready for some of the things one might complain about, but overall it was better than expected! It is only a 3 star, so don't expect 4 or 5 star comfort. Rooms are basic, but spacious & very clean. Bed hard but two singles bolted together so very big. Shower worked really well all the time. Loo seat was loose and not fixed in the week we were there. Surely the cleaners should report this as well? Useful fridge in room, but no kettle or tea making facilities. Air con worked well. Booked a room with full sea view, but unfortunately were in the half of the hotel overlooking the Algarve Casino in front, so sea and beach view only half, but lovely. Also the balconies have been filled in with a tin sheet, so unable to sit & look out. Obviously some idiot had climbed over in the past! Restaurant seemed fairly busy both lunch & evening with inexpensive menu but we ate out as there are so many other really good eating establishments nearby. Shame there is no bar in the hotel, but there is a very busy one next door! Breakfasts were not for the full English eater, but plenty of continental type breads, ham, cheeses & fruits. Hot dog sausages, scrambled & hard boiled eggs every day with chorizo & what was described as bacon on alternate days. Staff all very pleasant & helpful without exception. Three lifts, all good. Parking very limited at hotel, but plenty on waste land not far behind hotel, had no problems finding spaces. Would def stay again!

Dans l’ensemble qualité pris c'étais très bien, le petit déjeuné était le même toute la semaine et pas extraordinaire et le parking trop petit mais j'ai pas eu de mal a trouver une place a coter de l’hôtel. Bref je le conseil les yeux fermés car il est idéalement situé. Bonne vacances

Excellent value, modern hotel with great staff who were very helpful, all spoke English. Buffet breakfast included was acceptable but not outstanding. Buffet dinners were cheap but not as good as local restaurants. Location ideal for beach, tourist shops and many bars and restaurants, but very quiet. Sea view almost totally blocked by building opposite, though. Our room was large, bathroom good, air con excellent, TV OK, WiFi good, all rooms have private balconies.

Hotelli rannan lähellä. Meidän huone todella pieni, laskutilaa ei juuri ollut. Parveke löytyi mutta sekin poispäin rannasta. Aamupala ok, ruuhkaa. Jääkaappi löytyi, tyhjä sai itse täyttää. Hinta/ laatu ei kohtaa.

un bon choix à La Rocha

l'écart de la rue horriblement commerçante de La Rocha,l'^hoel,ancien déjà s'est bien modernisé .O.K.pour les sanitaires,la chambre calme avec balcon vue partielle sur océan ; bonne literie;parking gratuit . Une dame,à l'acceuil parle très bien le français .Merci pour sa gentillesse aussi .Bons petits déj. et en demi pension,menus corrects (pour groupes surtout)Pas de gastronomie mais bon. Bons vins pas Chers . On souhaiterait plus de fruits... Personnel efficace et serviable . Situation intéressante pour visiter les c^tes et l'arrière paysmême si venant de Portimao,l'accès à la rue n'est pas évident à cause de l'anarchie urbanistis-que..G.P.S. nécessaire !A
